Despite recently shifting its focus to working on multiple games, Quantic Dream – the studio behind Detroit: Become Human – is still actively developing Star Wars Eclipse.
Quantic Dream announced on its blog that it’s expanding beyond working on single projects at a time. Over the past few years, the company has been preparing for this growth by opening a new studio in Montreal, relocating its main office to a larger space in Paris, taking control of publishing its own games, and developing the technology that will power its future titles.
The studio is expanding and working on a completely new project. They describe it as a competitive multiplayer game created with the same innovative and imaginative approach that’s always been central to their work.
The upcoming game is expected to be quite different, which might surprise players. However, the developers emphasize that innovation is core to who they are, and they’ve always been committed to pushing boundaries, trying new things with gameplay and storytelling, and aiming for ambitious goals.
Details about Star Wars Eclipse, which was first announced in 2021, are still limited. However, the developers have confirmed that work on the game is ongoing and they plan to share updates with fans soon.
