Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator Shares Cozy Gameplay [EXCLUSIVE]

Game Rant is excited to share a new gameplay trailer for Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator. This could be the last preview of the game before it becomes available in early access on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

First revealed in August 2025, Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator is currently being developed by To-Go Games, which is part of GRIP Studios based in the Czech Republic. The game is an engaging simulation where players get to live the daily routines of a park ranger at the made-up Faremont National Park.

Ranger’s Path Showcases Cozy Yet Realistic Gameplay in New Trailer

Astragon Entertainment, known for realistic simulations, has released a new trailer for Ranger’s Path, and Game Rant is excited to share it first! The one-minute video explains what the game is about, highlights its relaxing feel, and gives you a sneak peek at typical tasks in Ranger’s Path. These include things like going on patrols, fixing buildings, cleaning up areas, overseeing campsites, and taking pictures of animals.

In Ranger’s Path, a normal day begins with the player waking up in a cabin within a ranger village. You’ll then select a patrol route – either by vehicle or on foot – and begin responding to incoming radio calls. It’s important to handle maintenance tasks before visitors arrive, especially crucial jobs like reopening trails. Many simulation games offer a lot of choices, which often leads to complicated menus. However, the latest trailer shows Ranger’s Path emphasizing hands-on fieldwork instead of spending time navigating lots of menus.

In addition to regular upkeep, this new game will also have players managing campsites, which is a key responsibility for park rangers. Keeping the area clean is crucial because trash attracts animals, so you’ll need to regularly inspect sites, verify camping permits, and help visitors – all to prevent problems with animals like raccoons or bears. The game features a system where you can improve your photography skills and document wildlife as you discover different environments. Players can choose between two difficulty levels: Simulation for a realistic experience, and Casual for a more relaxed and cozy gameplay style.
