Rarest Materials In Infinity Nikki, Ranked

As a seasoned adventurer who has traversed the whimsical world of Infinity Nikki for countless hours, I must say that the rare and exotic items found within this game are truly breathtaking. Among these treasures, there are certain materials that stand out as particularly elusive, requiring patience, skill, and a bit of luck to obtain.

In the game ‘Infinity Nikki’, gathering materials is essential for players who want to create various items from the sketches they have acquired. By using the Sketches section in their menu, stylists can produce clothing items, perfumes, or even Momo’s Cloak, thereby expanding the range of customization options within the game.

This article focuses on the scarcest and most challenging materials to acquire within the game “Infinity Nikki.” While many items are common and can be found by exploring Miraland casually, some unique materials are only obtainable at specific, hard-to-locate spots.

10. Scarfmoth & Scarf Worm

In Stoneville and the Abandoned District, you can find both Scarfmoth and Scarf Worm. Although these aren’t the scarcest materials in Infinity Nikki, they can be quite elusive when trying to catch them.

In this game, the elusive Scarf Worm dwells beneath the surface, making it essential for players to discern signs of its presence – burrowed holes being the key indicator. Once you find these holes, give them a moment before the worms emerge. Catch them swiftly with your Bug-Catching Outfit, as they quickly retreat back into their hidden lairs once caught. The Scarf Worm is known for its stealthy nature and frequent relocation, so players must vigilantly monitor numerous holes in a single area to ensure success. Furthermore, the holes can be tricky to spot, especially when the game’s visual settings are set at a lower quality.

Scarfmoth is a stunning, violet-colored moth that prefers high altitudes, whether perched atop rocky cliffs or on rooftops. These solitary creatures are elusive during daylight hours, making it best to wait until nightfall in the game Infinity Nikki if you’re planning to catch these purple insects.

9. Socko

In the game “Infinity Nikki,” Socko is a rare, purplish material. These sock creatures are quite skittish, so players need to approach from far away before they can successfully catch them. Not only are they tricky to capture, but there are only seven instances of Socko scattered throughout Florawish and the Breezy Meadows. Consequently, it’s challenging to accumulate large quantities of these elusive sock bugs.

Thankfully, each Socko grants five Bug-Catching Insights, making the hunt worth the time spent.

8. Stern Belt

As a passionate film enthusiast, I must admit that gathering Esselings’ drops might initially seem like a walk in the park. However, once you encounter the enigmatic Stern Belt, it becomes a whole different story!

The Stern Belt is sourced from the ominous-looking Harsh Sssack, a serpentine creature that’s significantly darker than its regular counterpart, the Sssack. This particular Sssack drops the Tangled Ribbon. Since it’s quite rare and can only be found in specific areas within the Wishing Woods, it’s advised to regularly visit these locations to secure a steady supply of this material for future use.

7. Ribbon Eel

The Ribbon Eel isn’t as abundant as a rare item like Socko, but it’s more elusive than a bug in the game. In the gaming world, there are just two fixed locations for catching this fish, and players might find an additional one or two in the fishing spots across Breezy Meadows.

The two popular locations are near a small bridge to the northeast of The Relaxing Anglers Flora-Enriched Tower, and to the west of the river of the Forgotten Enthusiasts’ Whimsical Camp, just before the lake.

6. Lamp Fish

Like the elusive Ribbon Eel, Lamp Fish are scarcely encountered, despite being categorized as a blue rarity. As suggested in its description, these fish inhabit caves, making them challenging to catch due to the limited fishing spots within these subterranean environments. However, there are two guaranteed locations to find Lamp Fish: one is southwest of the Well of Fortune waypoint (located southeast of the Secret Base Warp Spire); and another is north of the Wish Pass Office Warp Spire. Players might also want to try their luck in other cave-like areas, such as the ripple near the Well of Fortune waypoint.

After a 24-hour refresh, just like any other resource, fishing hotspots regenerate, allowing me as a player to take advantage of my Fishing Skill attire and gather these valuable items each day.

5. Night Velvet, Rose Velvet, And Bibcoon Furball

In the game “Infinity Nikki,” the items Night and Rose Velvet share a scarcity comparable to the Bibcoon Furball. Each of these special items can only be found from unique sources – the Night and Rose Velvets are acquired from swans within Swan Gazebo, while the solitary Bibcoon resides outside the Bibcoon’s Chuckle Club in Florawish town.

Each day, I find myself limited to acquiring a single resource from Stylists, as they tend to remain calm and approachable. To ensure I have enough materials for my daily tasks, I must return and collect again after every 24-hour period, which feels like continuous grinding for resources.

4. Bullquet Felt & Bustlefly

In the captivating world of “Infinity Nikki”, I found myself immersed in the Bullquet Habitat. To tame the restless Bullquet, I had to catch the elusive Bustlefly flitting about its head first. After successfully calming it down, all I needed to do was don the Animal-Grooming Outfit, and voilà! The Bullquet Felt was mine to keep.

The ‘Deep Into the Forest’ mission ties into the Bullquet and can be initiated by traveling to the blue marker located west of Lakeside Hill Lane Warp Spire, which is situated northeast of the Abandoned Fanatic Wisher Camp Outpost.

Subsequently, should it be daylight now, players have the option to transition to nighttime to generate additional Bustleflies. Contrasting those pestering the Bullquet, these insects will tranquilly flutter around their habitat and the pathway alongside the road en route to the Bullquet.

3. Astral Feather

In simpler terms, Astral Feather is a rare item, similar to purple quality, that you can acquire from the mythical bird known as the Astral Swan. This bird dwells in the Starry Fishing Zone within the Deserted Sector.

In the enchanting world of “Infinity Nikki,” there’s a journey I embark on, known as the “Soaring Above the Starry Sky” quest. This adventure revolves around the celestial figure of the Astral Swan.

Different from Bullquet and Dawn Fox, Astral Swan doesn’t have specific prerequisites for players to groom it. Additionally, this creature isn’t easily startled, allowing you to approach it freely and gently brush it to collect its Astral Feather.

2. Dawn Fluff

In my experience as a devoted fan of “Infinity Nikki,” I’ve discovered that to obtain the elusive Dawn Fluff, one must locate the Dawn Fox in a unique spot nestled within the heart of the Wishing Woods. This enchanting creature is rather timid and tends to vanish if players move too hastily, even with caution and a stealthy Animal-Grooming outfit.

Players can play with the Dawn Fox after brushing it, which plays an adorable little cutscene.

Rather than that, utilize the Shrinking Costume and grasp Momo as you move toward the Daytime Fox. Swiftly transition to the Pet-Care Attire to groom it instead. If the Daytime Fox becomes frightened and ducks into its tiny burrow, reduce your size again and stay still for a minute or two until it emerges from its hiding spot once more.

1. Tulletail

Similar to other famed creatures on this list, the elusive Tulletail can only be found in a single location – the center of the Stellar Fishing Grounds. Make your way to the bridge, and search for the ripple beneath it. To locate the spot, look northwards and cast your fishing line. Catch every fish in this area to encourage its respawn after 24 hours, enabling you to gather more Tulletails.

Of course, being a rare purple material, Tulletail is more challenging to catch compared to most other fish. Players with knowledge about it can venture to the cliff north (west of Stellar Fishing Ground Peak Warp Spire) and seek out Professor Aventura for one of his numerous Observation quests in Infinity Nikki.
