Ready Or Not Dark Waters DLC

Ready Or Not Dark Waters DLC

As a seasoned gamer who’s been around the block more times than I care to remember, let me tell you this: The Dark Waters DLC for Ready or Not is like a long-lost friend that shows up with a six-pack and a story about a grand adventure at sea. Boarding ships and oil rigs under the cover of night has always been one of those exhilarating, adrenaline-pumping experiences in gaming, and Dark Waters delivers it tenfold.

It’s with great excitement that we announce the long-awaited release of the second DLC for the game Ready or Not, priced at $9.99! Nostalgic fans of classic tactical shooters will appreciate the throwback vibe of The Dark Waters DLC.

Experience the thrill of clandestine operations aboard ships and oil rigs under the cover of darkness, along with your trusted teammates, is one of the most exhilarating activities within this game, and Dark Waters offers ample opportunities for such encounters.

Regardless if it was the initial stage of ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’ or the Channel Ferry mission from ‘Rainbow Six: Lockdown’, this journey recalls memories, offering mechanics that are even more fitting to your gaming style.

Typically, as seen in “Ready or Not”, more straightforward approaches are taken when addressing heavier subjects; however, such handling becomes less noticeable due to the engaging gameplay experience on offer.

New Maps, New Missions

Among the highlights of the Dark Waters DLC is the thrilling Leviathan mission. It transpires that a terrorist organization known as “United People’s Front” has launched an attack on the HeavyWell A-101 offshore oil rig. In this assault, they have killed some members of the crew and taken others hostage.

For the first time, LSPD SWAT gets to infil via helicopter, hitching a Black Hawk ride to the rig.

Following its deployment, the UH-60 remained on standby for surveillance purposes, but it seemed that financial constraints prevented the assignment of a sniper team to it.

As a gamer immersed in “The Mirage at Sea,” I find myself navigating the opulent decks of the Seraglio, a high-end yacht that’s hosting an extravagant soiree. A conspicuously massive security team patrols the ship, while beneath the glitz and glamour, international crime capers of epic proportions unfold. It’s up to me to unravel this mystery and stay one step ahead!

After returning to land, the 3-Letter Triad escorts the LSPD officers towards the tranquil Elysian Island – a vast, forsaken resort paradise that is an urban explorer’s delight. Regrettably, this idyllic haven has been tainted by the claws of the criminal underworld, spoiling its peaceful atmosphere.

It’s Called Fashion, Baby

The Dark Waters DLC introduces some stylish sea-themed items for those who enjoy sailing adventures.

The most noticeable is a VBSS uniform set that will make you look the part when going aboard.

VBSS stands for Visit, Board, Search and Seizure, a job typically bestowed upon the more Billy Badass types elements of the US Navy.

In order to effectively complete their tasks, the LSPD SWAT team has been equipped with powerful new firearms, which will be crucial in handling challenging situations.

  • Mk 17 (FN SCAR-H)
  • GA51 (HK51)
  • G3
  • M14S-16 (Springfield M1A SOCOM 16)
  • MP5SD6

If you’re not aware, the GA51 is often referred to by the British Special Air Service (SAS) as the “Flashbang Gun”. In essence, it’s a modified MP5 but it fires rounds of 7.62x51mm NATO ammunition instead.

Among the new weapons, only the MP5SD6 suppressed submachine gun doesn’t employ the 7.62x51mm cartridge; all others do.

When aiming for fatal outcomes instead of injuries at an event, be sure to take accurate shots.

Are you ready? Then get your floaties on and board the chopper, it’s time to raid an oil rig.
