Ready or Not: Narcos Mission Guide (All Soft Objectives)

As a seasoned player of Ready or Not, I can confidently say that the Narcos mission is a thrilling rollercoaster ride through the treacherous streets of Los Locos territory. With my years of experience under my belt, I’ve learned to navigate these maps with the finesse of a panther and the precision of a marksman.

In the Ready or Not Home Invasion DLC expansion, you’ll find Narcos as one of the freshly added levels. This level drops you into a tense situation in a picturesque neighborhood where an LSPD officer finds himself in trouble. The map design offers a blend of extensive and close-range vantage points, with cluttered indoor spaces and disorganized outdoor areas that demand quick reflexes, heightened situational awareness, and keen perception from the players.

This map isn’t quite as time-consuming as certain missions from the original Ready or Not game, but depending on how unpredictable the AI acts, it can become quite challenging. Here’s a comprehensive guide that covers all Narcos objectives (including secondary goals) along with some helpful tips and recommended gear setups.

All Objectives in Ready or Not Narcos Mission

In Narcos, the mission proves to be quite challenging. Unlike the Dorms level in Ready or Not, the suspects in this case pose a greater threat. Here, you’ll encounter members of the Los Locos gang, who not only carry modified assault rifles but also wear body armor. Additionally, you’ll need to search multiple houses and clear outdoor areas as well. The primary objectives are:

  • Bring Order to Chaos: Arrest or Neutralize All Suspects
  • Rescue All Civilians: Restrain All Civilians
  • Locate the Informant: Search for Mike Esperanza, an undercover LSPD agent

Informant Location

Ready or Not: Narcos Mission Guide (All Soft Objectives)

In a nutshell, Narcos stands out from other missions due to its increased dynamism. The character players are after is actually an undercover officer whose identity has been exposed. This individual can show up in various locations across the map. To locate him, your team will have to meticulously scour the map. Since he’ll be calling for help, it’s crucial that you keep a keen ear out.

The informant can and will crawl around the map. Take care not to accidentally shoot him.

Ready or Not Narcos Soft Objectives

Locating subtle goals within RoN might prove tricky, but those on the Narcos map tend to stand out more clearly. Here’s what you should focus on for this mission:

  • Find and report hidden LSPD documents
  • Find and report two crime scenes

Initially, there are two soft objectives located within the initial residence that characters access via their starting position. To accomplish the first objective, examine the bloodstained sofa in the living area. Subsequently, move towards the door across from the chair, and search for a table with a computer on it to fulfill the second objective.

Once these goals are accomplished, step outside and explore the surrounding homes. The target you’re after can be found inside one of their kitchens – it’s a deceased dog.

Recommended Loadouts and Tips

In light of the suspects being heavily armored, we advise carrying Armor-Piercing ammunition to ensure a powerful stop. If you’re aiming for an S-rank in any Ready or Not mission, it would be wise to opt for non-lethal tools. For this particular mission, we suggest bringing along CS gas and pepperball launchers.

It appears that the outdoor zones might pose challenges for players because it’s trickier to identify suspects in these areas due to color grading and at certain angles, sunlight can impede their vision. However, using CS gas could prove beneficial as its clouds extend over a larger area than flashbangs or stingers, and they linger longer too, providing the team with additional time to adjust their positions without having to concern themselves about specific angles.

Here are a few tips for the Narcos mission:

  • Before entering an uncleared house, break a few windows and lob some grenades inside.
  • Have someone bring a beanbag shotgun and let them take point when breaching houses.
  • Have someone with a pepperball launcher take point when exiting houses.
  • Wear either Steel or Ceramic armor plates since suspects are armed with rifles.
