Ready or Not: Three Letter Triad S Rank Guide

The Three Letter Triad is positioned within one of the expansive maps in the game Ready or Not, testing players’ strategic skills to the max. It’s an intense close-quarter battle scenario featuring shadowy corridors, damaged walls, varying sightlines, and well-armed adversaries. This mission can prove challenging on the initial try, but those who persevere will eventually master it.

This resource offers some suggested strategies and equipment choices for the “Three Letter Triad” mission within the game “Ready or Not”. It also includes possible secondary objectives and other intriguing discoveries that players may find appealing.

Ready or Not: Three Letter Triad Walkthrough

Just as with any other mission in RoN, players have the liberty to tackle the Three Letter Triad as they deem appropriate. There isn’t a single method for finishing this mission; instead, here are some factors players may wish to ponder.

Beginning your journey at the Beach is essentially a fatal move, given its vast expanse and difficulty in detecting suspects who might be firing at you from long distances or dark windows. It would be wiser to start either at the Loading Bay or Docks instead, as both locations provide entry points that are far easier to secure.

In this situation, any equipment setup should be fine. But for optimal protection against rifle fire, I’d recommend donning complete heavy armor reinforced with steel plating. Given the abundant shielding options available, make sure to utilize them wisely.

Three Letter Triad Objectives

  • Bring Order to Chaos
  • Rescue All Civilians
  • Find the Package
  • Arrest 5 Suspects

Here, we have two categories of individuals causing trouble: pirates and private military company operators. The PMC operators are particularly difficult to handle because they’re armed with heavy-duty rifles and protective vests, and their behavior is far more hostile than the typical thugs. Our advice would be to carry an assault rifle loaded with armor-piercing bullets to take them down swiftly.

In this area, most non-player characters carrying weapons will attack you immediately. But since your goal is to apprehend five members of the Three Letter Triad, it’s wise to strategically employ grenades first to disable them before they can retaliate with gunfire. If you’re aiming for an S-rank in this mission (details coming up later), you probably won’t need to rely on guns much. However, if you prefer using firearms, be mindful of your shooting technique.

Three Letter Triad Package Location

As a dedicated player, I’ve stumbled upon an intriguing contraption in this game. While it doesn’t have the destructive power of the bombs from Relapse or The Elephant, it does play a crucial role in completing the mission. It resembles a homemade device, though not quite like what you’d see in a movie explosion.

It’s a cylindrical object adorned with various electronics, and when it’s near, you’ll hear a distinct beep sound. So, keep your eyes peeled for this peculiar gadget!

In any given situation, civilians are typically in close proximity to the explosive device, and there will usually be armed suspects safeguarding it. Upon verifying the package’s location, ensure to employ flashbangs, tear gas, or Stingers prior to entering. Neutralize any potential threats that arise, and secure both the area and everyone involved.

Three Letter Triad Soft Objectives

As a gamer, I can tell you that no matter what, there’s usually a hidden stash of firearms, marked by its distinct yellow hue, scattered somewhere on the virtual battlefield. The location varies each time we play, but luckily, not obtaining it won’t affect our perfect mission score.

Unarmed suspects, upon spotting the hideouts, are likely to retrieve weapons once the players initiate a search or raid. Swiftly securing these armories ahead of time will help in preventing the suspects from increasing their threat level.

Ready or Not: Three Letter Triad Secret Room Achievement

You’ll need C2 explosives to get this achievement.

Apart from other goals, players might aim to acquire the “Uncovering Hidden Ghosts in Elysium’s Depths: Justice” achievement. To earn this trophy, you need to locate the secret Three Letter Triad room hidden somewhere close to the Loading Bay starting point.

Starting from the Loading Bay, head beyond the room featuring a blue door, then you’ll come across narrow passageways. Along this path, you’ll encounter a few empty rooms that look like shower stalls, one of which will have a damaged wall with some red graffiti on it. Deposit some C2 onto the broken wall and set it off to earn the achievement.

How to S Rank Three Letter Triad in Ready or Not

To achieve an S-rank in Three Letter Triad, it is essential to successfully finish every task without any failed objectives, penalties, or losses, and exclusively utilizing non-lethal weaponry. A standard non-lethal setup for RoN that incorporates all gas weapons usually suffices; however, considering the dangerous nature of the PMC suspects, swapping a pepperball gun for a Beanbag Shotgun could be advantageous in this case.

Pepperball guns, compared to Beanbag Shotguns, offer a longer range and are typically safer to use. However, it may take some time for the CS gas in Pepperball guns to affect someone. On the other hand, if you hit someone with a Beanbag Shotgun, especially their hands or arms, it can instantly subdue them.

Three Letter Triad Tips

  • CS Gas is great for clearing the larger rooms inside the resort.
  • High-caliber rifles like the SA58 and M14 can easily punch through PMC body armor.
  • If a room has a lot of enemies in it, consider breaching it from two different entrances.
  • You can enter a point shooting stance with any weapon by pressing your Toggle Canted Sight button. This will help a lot with target identification and general visibility when clearing tight spaces.
