REANIMAL: All Critter Locations (Citter Hit Kill Trophy)

In the game REANIMAL, you can find hidden secrets in the form of small, spider-like creatures called critters. Finding and defeating all of them isn’t necessary to finish the story, but it will unlock special masks and the Critter Hit Kill achievement. These critters are often hidden in hard-to-reach places, so it’s easy to miss them. This guide will help you locate every critter in REANIMAL across all chapters.

All Critter Locations in REANIMAL (Critter Hit Kill Achievement)

In the game REANIMAL, players can find five different Critters. Each one you capture rewards you with a unique mask for your character. Here’s a guide to finding all of them.

REANIMAL Critter Location 1 (Chapter Two: The Cleansing House)

You’ll find the first Critter in Chapter Two, after reaching the village. Once you have the Crowbar, you’ll return to the front of the Cinema. Instead of going to the alleyway right away, head in the direction the camera is facing. You’ll see a boarded-up door on the right side of the damaged road.

In the room, you’ll find a traffic cone with a spider-like creature hiding under it. You can defeat it using either the Boy’s Crowbar or the Girl’s Knife. If you beat the creature during chapter two, you’ll get the Cone Head mask as a reward.

REANIMAL Critter Location 2 (Chapter Three: After the Flood)

Once you’ve finished with the boat area in chapter three, you’ll come to a long ladder. Climb it to reach a big field of flowers. Don’t go straight ahead; instead, turn left and keep going until you see a scarecrow in the distance.

Walk up to the scarecrow and strike it with a close-range weapon. A small creature will drop off, and you need to defeat it quickly to obtain the Deer Head mask.

REANIMAL Critter Location 3 (Chapter Four: No Shelter)

In chapter four, once the bus ride is over, players will arrive at the Orphanage. The front door is locked, so you’ll have to climb ladders on the side of the building to reach the upper floor and enter through a large clock. On the right side of the room, crouch and walk through the bookshelf to discover a hidden area.

Okay, so when I went into the room, I spotted one of the posters on the right. But the real surprise happened when I left! There was this little Critter running around, and I had to take it out. Once I did, I got the Bucket Head mask – pretty cool!

REANIMAL Critter Location 4 (Chapter Six: Nobody Left Behind)

In chapter six, you’ll explore tunnels leading to a military bunker. To get the power back on, you need to find the door on the right, go up to the balcony, and start the generator. Importantly, you must push the crate with the fish picture off the railing – this is what makes a special creature appear.

After finishing the Secret Bunker and climbing down the ladder to the beach, head to the far left side of the beach before you approach the boat.

Quickly eliminate the Critter to get the Fish Head mask in REANIMAL.

REANIMAL Critter Location 5 (Chapter Eight: The Watcher)

You’ll come to a room with soldiers suspended on poles. Use a weapon to grab a key from one of them, then go through the door on the right. Once inside, you’ll see an oven on the floor. Use the Crowbar to open it and free the creature inside.

The Critter will enter the pipes that lead to the room with the hanging soldiers. Follow it back into the room and grab a weapon to defeat it. Once you’ve defeated the last Critter in Chapter eight of REANIMAL, you’ll get the Gas Head mask.

After eliminating all five Critters, players will unlock the Critter Hit Kill trophy in REANIMAL.
