Tarsier Studios, the team behind Little Nightmares, recently showcased more of their upcoming game, Reanimal, during the Xbox Partner Preview. They revealed new gameplay footage, announced the game’s release date, and confirmed a free demo will be available.
I’ve been really excited about Reanimal! It looks like a much darker take on Little Nightmares, and that game was already pretty unsettling. From what I understand, you play as a brother and sister trying to escape their home, which has become some kind of nightmare, and rescue their friends. You can play it alone, or even better, with a friend online or locally. They dropped a really intense teaser last year, and everyone’s been waiting for more info. Luckily, the Xbox Partner Preview just gave us a new look at the game and a lot more details!
Reanimal Releasing on February 13th, 2026, Free Demo Available Now
The new Reanimal trailer showcases exciting gameplay and a stunning, terrifying world. The game is officially launching on February 13th, 2026, but players can try it out now with a free demo available on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
After a long development period, Tarsier Studios’ new game, Reanimal, appears to be shaping up nicely. The studio wasn’t involved in the recent Little Nightmares 3, which received a mixed reception. It will be fascinating to see how Reanimal compares to their previous work in terms of both similarities and differences.
