Reanimal Has Officially Gone Gold Two Months Before Release

The highly anticipated horror game, Reanimal, is finished and ready to ship! Publisher THQ Nordic confirmed that the game has ‘gone gold,’ meaning production is complete, two months before its planned release in February.

The announcement came via a media release and social media post on Tuesday.

THQ Nordic announced that Reanimal, the new co-op horror game from the creators of Little Nightmares, has finished development and is ready for release. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 13th, 2026.

Reanimal reaching ‘gold’ status means the game is very likely to release on its planned date, barring any unforeseen major issues. While there’s always a small chance of delay, it’s a good sign and suggests the release is on track.

Reanimal will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The standard version of the game costs $39.99. For $59.99, you can get the Digital Deluxe version, which includes the full game, a season pass giving you access to all three planned DLC chapters, and special Foxhead and Muttonhead masks.

For the ultimate experience, the $199.99 Collector’s Edition includes everything from the Digital Deluxe version, plus all the pre-order bonuses. It also comes with a collectible Pig Statue, a metal keyring, a map poster, an 80-page art book, three sticker sheets, and a premium collector’s box.

If you aren’t sure if Reanimal is a game for you, there is a demo available now to download.
