A group known as Rebel Wolves, made up of ex-CD Projekt Red team members, has unveiled The Blood of Dawnwalker through a lengthy cinematic trailer and brief gameplay sneak peek. Today saw the release of this trailer, offering a glimpse into this entirely new role-playing epic that starts with an open-world single-player RPG.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the mastermind behind the phenomenal Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, is spearheading the studio. If you look closely at the trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker, you might spot a few hints of Witcher influence in its visual and audial aspects, reminding us of our beloved Witcher series.
Treading the Line
In the blurb that accompanied the new trailer, Rebel Wolves wrote:
In this game, you assume the role of Coen, a youth transformed into a Dawnwalker, constantly navigating between the realms of day and night. Utilize your abilities, blending vampire power with human determination, as you embark on a mission to protect those dear to you. Confront adversaries, whether they are humans, monsters, or time itself, relentlessly marching forward.
Keep this in mind – sometimes, what appears good can hide darkness, while those close to us might conceal themselves during the darkest hours.
The video preview displays intense battles involving ravenous, bloodthirsty vampires tearing apart their enemies and causing explosions. It also features dramatic moments, abundant blood flow, and a sneak peek into a vast, expansive world that promises greatness.

The video game titled “Blood of Dawnwalker” will become available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. Unfortunately, the development team hasn’t given us a specific release date yet, but they have scheduled a full gameplay unveiling for this summer – possibly during Summer Games Fest.
