Now, Roger Clark joins the team as the Narrator, guiding players through their journey to find Captain Khali and uncover the secrets of the dangerous Afterlight.
Roger Clark Adds A “Space Western” Flair To The Game’s Narration
Roger Clark, famous for playing Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, is bringing that same Western style to his voice work in Starfinder: Afterlight. A clip from developer Epictellers Entertainment shows he’s using a similar accent that fans of Red Dead Redemption 2 will instantly recognize. The narrator he plays is also very expressive, even going so far as to describe a companion’s intense stare as making the player feel exposed.
The narrator, Clark, really brings Afterlight‘s story to life, highlighting both its grand scale and its funny moments – the developers have said the humor is similar to Guardians of the Galaxy. His distinctive voice and honest, opinionated delivery give the game a cool “space Western” vibe that perfectly suits Afterlight. It’s a memorable and quirky style, and players can expect to hear Clark narrate their entire adventure through space in the same way.
We’re expecting more voice actor announcements for Starfinder: Afterlight soon! The game’s Kickstarter campaign, which runs until November 6th, recently reached its goal for full voice acting. This means every character – villains, sidekicks, and everyone in between – will be fully voiced. The Epictellers team is thrilled and is actively looking to add more talented actors to the project, with announcements coming in the next few months.
