Consequently, he and his colleagues are introducing a third-person perspective to the upcoming title, Resident Evil Requiem. This third-person view is intended to temper the horror aspects, making it friendlier for players who find the intense first-person scenes overwhelming. This might be encouraging news for diehard fans, as Nakanishi’s statement hints that the game could still pack a fearful punch, especially in the first-person mode.
