These range from toys in an orphanage that allude to the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0, to a recognizable wine bottle in House Dimitrescu that nods to Resident Evil Village. A Reddit user named Apodecte noticed a braille book in the Resident Evil Requiem game, used by the blind child Emily. They took a screenshot and translated it, discovering the phrase “greeted her warmly and bit his own wing.” This line is actually from a story called Village of Shadows, which is read to Rosemary Winters in the beginning of Resident Evil Village. The complete line from the story is: “Then the Bat Lord appeared. He greeted her warmly and bit his own wing.”
