A listing on the PlayStation Store in Portugal briefly revealed a Leon Kennedy skin for the upcoming game, Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe, suggesting he will be a playable character.
Okay, so there’s been a lot of talk about Leon Kennedy being in the new Resident Evil game, Requiem. From the start, people have been wondering if he’d be playable, and one reliable leaker kept saying he was one of three characters you could control. Now, it looks like that’s been confirmed! The deluxe listing for the game pretty much spells it out – Leon’s in, and we can play as him. I’m super excited, honestly!
Leon DSO Agent Skin Coming to Resident Evil Requiem
A Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition pre-order page on the Portuguese PlayStation store revealed details about a new outfit for Leon Kennedy, discovered by DuskGolem on X (formerly Twitter). Similar to the previously announced Grace Dimitrescu outfit, Leon will receive a special “DSO Special Agent” outfit as a pre-order bonus. While five outfits were listed, only the outfits for Grace and Leon have been confirmed so far.
Sony mistakenly revealed that Leon S. Kennedy will be featured in the upcoming Resident Evil 9 (Requiem). A listing on the Portuguese PlayStation 5 pre-order page for the game’s Deluxe Edition accidentally included a Deluxe Costume for Leon.

As a big Resident Evil fan, I’m really excited about all the extras you get with the Deluxe Edition of Requiem! It comes with a couple of cool filters – one’s called Apocalypse, which sounds awesome – plus four different weapon skins, including one for the S&S M232. They’re even throwing in two charms, and I have to get the Mr. Raccoon one! There’s also a classic audio pack for Raccoon City and some interesting files – letters from 1998. And if you pre-order, you get a special Apocalypse outfit for Grace, which is a nice bonus.
While a new skin suggests Leon Kennedy might be coming to Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom hasn’t officially announced his inclusion just yet.
