Capcom announced on X (formerly Twitter) that pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem will begin on October 29, 2025, at an unspecified time in the US. They also revealed a celebratory video for the Resident Evil series will be released on the same day. However, Capcom clarified that the video won’t include any new gameplay footage of Requiem.

Despite the recent news, there’s still hope for new Resident Evil games. Rumors about remakes of Resident Evil 0, 5, and Code Veronica have been circulating, and we might get a reveal during the upcoming video. Plus, a live-action Resident Evil movie directed by Zach Cregger is being filmed, so we could also see a sneak peek at that. We’ll find out for sure on October 29th.
