After you escape Castle Dimitrescu and return to the village in Resident Evil Village, you’ll need to find some important items. But a tractor might be blocking your way, so you’ll need to figure out how to move it.

How to Get the Workshop Code in Resident Evil Village

In the eastern section of West Old Town, you’ll find a locked gate leading to the Workshop. You can open it by shooting the lock with any weapon. Once inside, head to the building on the left – you’ll find a lockbox there that requires a combination to open.

The code you need is visible through the south-facing window – you’ll see six numbers, and the Workshop code is 070408. Be careful, though! Looking out the window will startle a werewolf, so get ready to battle and brace yourself for a scare!

Now that you’ve entered the code into the lockbox, you can obtain the M1911 Pistol and the Jack Handle. The Jack Handle is an important item you’ll need for the next part of the game.

How to Use the Jack Handle in Resident Evil Village

Okay, so I finally got the Jack Handle! Now I need to head out of the Workshop and go straight west. There’s a tractor blocking the way into West Old Town, but thankfully, I can use the Jack Handle on the back of it. It lifts the tractor up just enough for me to crouch underneath and get to the other side of West Old Town. Awesome!
