As a big fan of Resident Evil, I’m really excited about Heisenberg’s Hammer! It looks like an incredibly powerful weapon, and if we’re lucky, Ethan Winters can actually build it. Once you get to Heisenberg’s Factory in Resident Evil Village, the hunt begins for the pieces you need. Here’s a guide to finding them all!
We’ll guide you through obtaining all the Mechanical Parts needed for Heisenberg’s Hammer, so you don’t miss out on this valuable item. Completing it will guarantee you always have enough money to spend at the Duke’s shop when you need it most.
How to Get the Mechanical Part (Cylinder) in Resident Evil Village
Head into the B4 section of Heisenberg’s Factory and go beyond the Engine Room. You’ll find a corridor with a crumbling wall at the very end – it’s marked with a yellow X. You can break this wall open using a Pipe Bomb or any other type of explosive.
Once you’ve broken down the Crumbling Wall, you’ll discover a treasure chest on a table holding the Mechanical Part (Cylinder) – this is the first piece you need for the puzzle. To find the second part, continue further into Heseinberg’s Factory, as detailed below.
How to Get the Mechanical Part (Shaft) in Resident Evil Village

Head to the B1 area and search for a chest – it contains the Key Mold, which you’ll need for the story. Once you have it, go back to the Casting Machine in the Foundry on MB4. Use the Key Mold there to create Heisenberg’s Key.
You can now access Heisenberg’s Quarters in the southeast part of MB4 using Heisenberg’s Key. Inside, you’ll find a chest on a table near the metal bed frames, which contains the Mechanical Part (Shaft).
How to Get & Use Heisenberg’s Hammer in Resident Evil Village
After you’ve collected both the Cylinder and the Shaft, open your inventory using Triangle (on PlayStation) or Y (on Xbox). Scroll through the categories with the RB button until you find the Treasure section. Then, select either the Cylinder or the Shaft and choose the ‘Combine’ option to create Heisenberg’s Hammer.
Heisenberg’s Hammer is too heavy to wield as a weapon. You can sell it to the Duke for 45,000 Lei instead.
