While exploring Castle Dimitrescu, you can find a Treasure Map in the attic. You’ll need to solve the bell puzzle in the Atelier first. Once you have the map, finding what it leads to and solving the next puzzle becomes a top priority – even more important than finding Ethan’s daughter, Rose.

How to Find the Treasure Map Room in Castle Dimitrescu (Resident Evil Village)

After you find the Treasure Map in the Attic, your next step should be getting the Iron Insignia Key. You can find this key by solving the piano puzzle in the Opera Hall. Don’t worry, it’s a simple puzzle – just play the keys until you match the correct notes.

Now that you have the Iron Insignia Key, go down to the Basement. From the Main Hall, head east into the Dining Room, then north through the Kitchen, and continue going north. You’ll find the Treasure Map Room in the northeast section of the Basement, past the Hall of War and Chamber of Solace – it’s located within the Special Chambers.

Use the Iron Insignia Key to unlock the Special Chambers and discover the puzzle concealing your treasure!

How to Solve the Special Chambers Puzzle in Resident Evil Village

You’ll find two unlit braziers within the Special Chambers. Your goal is to light them, and all the necessary items are located somewhere inside the same area.

Use the pipe bomb to destroy the weak section of the left wall, which will uncover a large, lit torch. Then, shoot the left brazier with any weapon to make it swing and ignite the torch.

Now, shoot the dark brazier on the right to make it swing and light the one on the left. Once both braziers are lit, you’ll be able to reach the coffin at the back of the room and get the Azure Eye Treasure.

You can sell the Azure Eye to Duke for 1,200 Lei, but it’s much more valuable if you combine it with the Silver Ring first! You’ll find the Silver Ring in a drawer on the second floor of the Hall of Pleasure. Combining them increases the Azure Eye’s worth tenfold, making it worth 12,000 Lei!
