How to Get the Mask of Sorrow in Resident Evil Village

Once you’ve left the Bedchamber, you’ll find the Moon Eye Ring as you go through the iron door. Then, look at the Maroon Eye Ring in your Key Items and remove the eye from its setting. With the Maroon Eye now in your inventory, go upstairs in the Main Hall, heading south, and you’ll be able to open the Prioress Door.

One of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters will chase you, but quickly turn left into the Dressing Room and jump down the hole. This will lead you through the Tasting Room and into the Hall of War. Once inside, shoot the burning brazier at the two unlit piles of wood, then continue past the Chamber of Solace.

Once you’ve escaped your enemies and Lady Dimitrescu’s daughter, you’ll find yourself fighting in the Kitchen. You can defeat Bela by exposing her to the cold air from the broken window and then finishing her off with gunfire. After she’s gone, continue further into the Kitchen and collect the Sanguis Virginis wine from the basin of blood.

Once you have the Sanguis Virginis in your inventory, go to the Wine Room on the second floor. Place the Sanguis Virginis on the Silver Flower Bottle Stand to open a secret room where you’ll find the Courtyard Key inside a chest.

Okay, so to get into the Courtyard, you need the Courtyard Key and you find it by heading into the Dining Room, which is just east of the Main Hall on the first floor. Once I was in the Courtyard, I went to the southeast room and found some stairs. Going up those stairs led me right into the Hall of Ablution!

Okay, so after you get through the Hall of Ablution and the Wine Cellars open up, head into the Distillery. Once you’re there, find the lever in the southeast corner and pull it. That’ll take you right to Dimitrescu’s Chambers. When you’re in there, don’t forget to look up! The Dimitrescu Key is hidden on the southwest wall – you definitely need to grab that!

Go through the door and pull the lever you find in the next room. You’ll need to pull it again, even if you’ve lost a hand. While you wait for the door to rise, avoid Lady Dimitrescu. Once inside, use Dimitrescu’s Key to open the door and then grab the Mask of Sorrow.

How to Get the Mask of Joy in Resident Evil Village

Now that you have the Mask of Sorrow, take the elevator back to the Courtyard. Once there, use the Dimitrescu’s Key to open the north door and go upstairs to the Opera Hall (1st floor). Find the piano and solve the music puzzle by pressing the keys in the correct order to obtain the Iron Insignia Key.

Using the Iron Insignia Key, go back to the Opera Hall on the second floor and unlock the door in the southwest corner. This will lead you to the Library, where you’ll encounter one of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters. You can defeat her by pulling the lever in the center of the gazebo, which will expose her to cold air, and then shooting her.

Head through the west door of the Library to reach the Hall of Joy and collect the Mask of Joy. Your third Angel Mask is right nearby, so stay put!

How to Get the Mask of Rage in Resident Evil Village

Starting from the Hall of Joy (west of the Library on the second floor), go into the west room to reach the Atelier. Inside the Atelier, you need to shoot all 5 bells. This will open a secret door hidden behind the Lady Dimitrescu Painting. Once through the door, you’ll find a ladder leading up to the Attic, and from there, you can access the Rooftops.

Continue along the rooftops, following the path until you reach the Belfry. There, you’ll find a zipline facing west towards the Tower of Rage. Ride the zipline to get the Mask of Rage, then climb down the ladder. You can then take the elevator back to the first floor of Castle Dimitrescu.

How to Get the Mask of Pleasure in Resident Evil Village

Go back to the first floor of Castle Dimitrescu and enter the Main Hall. Then, go upstairs to the south and re-enter the Prioress Door – the same one where you first met one of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters. Inside, head south and use Dimitrescu’s Key to unlock the door. Once inside the Hall of Pleasure, pick up the Mask of Pleasure, but be aware that you’ll be locked inside the room afterward.

Okay, so I headed west into the Armory and grabbed those Pipe Bombs right away – they were on a table up north. Then it was all about dodging those creepy attacks from Lady Dimitrescu’s daughter and pushing that shelf out of the way down south. I tossed a Pipe Bomb at that cracked-up wall, which revealed a gust of cold air, and finally took down the last of those daughters. Whew!

Head to the Armory and examine the west wall to find the Mounted Animal Skull. In your Key Items, take a look at the Skull, then inspect its back to transform it into the Animal Skull. Once you have the Animal Skull, go back to the Hall of Pleasure and place it in the same spot where you found the Mask of Pleasure.

This will open the way back to the Main Hall, letting you reach the Hall of the Four and finish the puzzle. Before you do, it’s a good idea to stop by the Merchant’s Room to save your progress or buy/sell items to get ready for the upcoming challenge.

How to Solve the Hall of the Four Masks Puzzle in Resident Evil Village

Okay, so in the Hall of the Four, there are these four statues, but they don’t have heads! Each one has a little plaque next to it, and those plaques give you clues about which Angel Mask belongs on each statue. You can go inside and open the coffin, but be warned: taking the item inside will permanently prevent you from exploring Castle Dimitrescu.
