It’s been claimed that the real-time strategy game from Respawn Entertainment‘s Star Wars series is expected to be unveiled sometime between April 18th and 20th.
According to Twitter user @bogorad222, it’s been announced that a public reveal along with a trailer will be unveiled during the Star Wars Celebration happening from April 18-20, 2025.
Through their primary reputation for gathering data through LinkedIn searches, bogorad222 supplied TopMob with convincing proof that the assertions were authentic, originating from a single source.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that in January 2022, the team at Respawn Entertainment and I, under the leadership of industry veteran Greg Foerstch from Bit Reactor, are joining forces to create an exciting new Star Wars real-time strategy game. While Respawn will be responsible for crafting the Star Wars universe experience, Bit Reactor will spearhead the development of this epic title.
Here at Respawn, we’re absolutely passionate about Star Wars, and we’re beyond excited to collaborate with Lucasfilm Games in developing new titles that have long been a dream of ours. If you share our enthusiasm for creating exceptional Star Wars games, we warmly invite you to embark on this journey with us.
Currently, as I’m typing, Electronic Arts (EA) hasn’t provided any additional information about the project. Therefore, it seems reasonable to expect an update or announcement from them by the end of this year.
In the month of February 2024, Electronic Arts (EA) ended the development of Respawn Entertainment’s first-person video game based on The Mandalorian, where players were to assume the role of a bounty hunter in a storyline with linear progression.
