Anastasia Is Eridna in Re:Zero Season 4
Recently, it was revealed in Re:Zero Season 4 that Anastasia, who has been traveling with Subaru and his friends through the Augria Sand Dunes, is actually Eridna. Anastasia’s mind has been fading, allowing Eridna to take over her body.
In Re:Zero Season 4, Episode 1, Subaru finds out the truth about Anastasia. Julius, Anastasia’s knight, learned this much later, after unintentionally hearing a conversation between Subaru and Erida.
This situation is taking a toll on Julius’s emotional state, particularly because losing to Reid Astrea damaged his sense of honor as a knight. He and Anastasia are planning to tell the others what happened. Being honest is the best way to ease the tension and prevent mistrust, especially after everything the group experienced at the watchtower.
Subaru Natsuki Has Lost His Memories
In the latest episode of Re:Zero, Subaru’s memories were wiped, dramatically increasing the tension. He found a way to seemingly pass Reid Astrea’s trial and felt a sense of relief as he stepped through a strange doorway. However, the outcome was surprising: Subaru woke up back in the Green Room, as if he’d used his Return by Death ability, but it hadn’t actually been triggered. Conversations with Emilia and Beatrice quickly confirmed that Subaru had indeed lost his memories.
After meeting Emilia, Beatrice, and Patrasche, Subaru thinks this is his first time being transported to the other world. Episode 8 of Re:Zero Season 4 might reveal the mystery behind the unusual room or stairs he went through before losing his memories. This could be a serious issue, potentially more dangerous than anyone expects. Subaru’s friends need to take swift action in the next episode of Re:Zero Season 4 to prevent the situation from getting worse.
