As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the highly anticipated construction-sim, Roadcraft, has finally unveiled its release date! This exciting revelation came with a fresh new gameplay overview trailer from Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!
From its title and visual representation, it’s clear that this is a game centered around large machinery. However, it’s not just about machines; it’s also an open-world game set in the aftermath of some event. It’s scheduled for release on PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5 on May 20th.
Check out the gameplay trailer:
This thrilling trailer showcases the significant venture you’ll embark on as a front-line rebuilder. You’ll have the opportunity to restore industries ravaged by disasters in various parts of the world. Whether it’s the wreckage left behind by a catastrophic flood or the destruction caused by a fierce sandstorm, your task is to mobilize an impressive armada of construction vehicles to remove debris, awaken dormant factories, and rebuild essential infrastructure such as roads and bridges to rejuvenate the local economy.
RoadCraft elevates Saber’s proficiency in off-road and construction simulations to unprecedented levels, marking their debut in heavy-machinery simulation. This innovative game leverages advanced physics technology, enabling players to engage with the environment in ways previously unimagined, offering an immersive experience that harmoniously combines driving, operating construction equipment, and resource management for reconstruction.
Pre-ordering is currently available, offering you two options: the standard version and a special “rebuilt edition.” As a pre-order bonus, you’ll receive an exclusive Vehicle DLC, the Aramatsu Bowhead 30T. This sturdy tracked heavy dump truck boasts a rotating base capable of 360-degree rotation, and it can also serve as a dependable sand refiller for other vehicles.
Here’s the details on the two editions:
- The Standard Edition, consisting of the base game and the vehicle DLC Aramatsu Bowhead 30T
- The Rebuild Edition that includes the Rebuild Expansion, the Aramatsu Bowhead 30T and the Invictus Type A scout vehicle, in addition to the game. The Rebuild Expansion takes its simulation further with a new DLC planned for 2025, that will grant you two new maps, filled with extra missions, activities and utility vehicles.
Roadcraft is coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5 on May 20th.
