Rocket League: How To Get Nightmare Before Christmas Event Items

As a seasoned gamer who’s been around since the dawn of time (or at least since the 8-bit era), I can confidently say that the Halloween collaborations in games like Rocket League are always a treat, no tricks! The Nightmare Before Christmas themed items in this year’s Rocket League have got me all pumped up for some spooky gaming sessions.

As Halloween approaches, popular games such as Rocket League and Fortnite are offering spooky themed items in their online stores. This year, Rocket League has once again introduced Nightmare Before Christmas-themed decals and vehicle accessories for its players, following previous collaborations of this kind.

For the upcoming collaboration, each item is only accessible for another week before they disappear and won’t reappear until next year or potentially not at all, as some past-year items haven’t returned to Rocket League yet. This guide will explain all the available items that can be claimed, how to obtain them, and what each bundle includes.

When players log in, they’ll find themselves with the opportunity to visit the in-game shop and explore the freshly introduced “Nightmare Before Christmas” section. This area showcases various themed bundles, each offering a unique selection of items that can be bought using earned credits. Alternatively, players can opt for the Mega Bundle to acquire the entire set at once. For those only interested in specific character’s accessories, individual bundle purchases are available, allowing them to save some credits.

For this year’s “Nightmare Before Christmas” event in the game “Rocket League”, we have characters such as Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie, and Sandy Claws. Additionally, players can purchase a Mega Bundle that grants access to all character items, music tracks, and profile decorations within “Rocket League”.

Here are the costs for each bundle, ranging from 2,000 credits to 300 credits based on your preferences before the event concludes. Below you’ll find details about each package. If you’re a Fortnite Crew member, you’ll receive the Rocket League Game Pass for this season at no additional cost with your subscription! This membership perk will grant you some credits and other advantages too.

  • JACK SKELLINGTON BUNDLE
    • Jack having the center stage and first bundle gives the player a chance to receive a Goal Explosion, Decal, Spiral Hill Wheels, Zero Topper, This is Halloween Player Anthem, and the Jack Skellington Player Banner. This bundle can be bought for 1,500 Credits.
  • OOGIE BOOGIE BUNDLE
    • Oogie Boogie is next that the player could buy with having a little less than Jack. The player can still receive Oogie Boogies Animated Decal, Oogie’s Winch Wheels, and Oogie’s Worms Rocket Boost. Giving the player the creepy advantage on the field to truly freight their opponents. This bundle can be purchased for 800 Credits.
  • SANDY CLAWS BUNDLE
    • Third on the event list is Sandy Claws having only two items that the player receives from this bundle. Once purchased the player will receive Sandy Claws as a topper and Man-Eating Wreath Wheels. This bundle while small does give the player the opportunity to get some items from the event. This bundle only costs the player 500 Credits.
  • SALLY
    • Sally’s bundle only offers the Universal Decal of her famous patchwork dress. Let the player purchase this bundle for only 300 Credits.
  • ITEMS SEPARATE FROM BUNDLES
    • The only other items that can be bought separately from the bundles include the famous This is Halloween intro to The Nightmare Before Christmas movie and the Jack Skellington Goal Explosion.
  • THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS MEGA BUNDLE
    • The Mega bundle includes all the other bundles into one massive bundle. Allowing the player to get everything mentioned above for only 2,000 Credits. Which is a favorite among the Rocket League community. Purchasing one bundle or the mega bundle allows players and teams to match and be festive as if they are back in Halloween Town with Jack, Sally, and the rest of the crew.

As I type this up, it appears that the Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise isn’t yet integrated into Fortnite, though things might shift down the line. Here’s what you need to know for now: deck out your character in holiday finery and rack up points by scoring goals!
