Rocket League is exploring some distinctive collaborations, and it seems that Mortal Kombat might be the next one on the list. This isn’t just speculation; the hint comes straight from Rocket League’s official social media accounts, making us suspect this could indeed be in the works.
It appears that there’s some exciting news surrounding video games right now. Just a day after rumors of a Fortnite and Mortal Kombat partnership were leaked and seemingly verified, it seems as though Rocket League is eager to join in on the fun as well.
A four-second teaser is all that was needed to send social media into a frenzy.
Mortal Kombat & Rocket League to Form a Deadly Alliance?
As a dedicated fan, I’ve just caught a glimpse of an exciting update from Rocket League’s official channel! In the brief clip, the familiar RL ball soars out of the goal, only for it to trigger an impressive explosion of fire and smoke. But
From the hazy cloud of smoke, a spear is hurled, and a familiar voice echoes loudly: “Move towards me!” Within the twinkling of an eye, the sphere finds itself ensnared by the fog and inferno, vanishing from sight – only to reappear once the game begins.
If this wasn’t a big enough hint, the message even says: “FLAWLESS VICTORY.”

It seems reasonable to expect that Mortal Kombat content will appear in Rocket League. To tell you the truth, this was not a combination I ever anticipated, but it appears that’s exactly what’s happening.
As I eagerly anticipate, it’s still unclear whether that Scorpion dance move is just a cool trick or something greater. In the meantime, if you’re yearning for more Mortal Kombat updates, don’t forget to catch a glimpse of Karl Urban as Johnny Cage in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 movie – fresh from The Boys set!
