The Elbaf arc in One Piece series has disclosed numerous thrilling details to the audience, and it’s evident that this storyline will delve deeper into some highly anticipated legends of the One Piece world. Among these legends, the God Valley Incident is one that fans eagerly anticipate. When referring to the God Valley Incident, fans can only imagine Rocks D. Xebec, and despite his fall on this island 38 years ago, Oda has already hinted at his return through someone embodying his spirit, which is a recurring theme in One Piece.
Rocks D. Xebec and His Death In One Piece
- Rocks Was The Strongest Long Ago
- He Was Beaten By Roger And Garp
Rocks D. Xebec was initially featured in One Piece during chapter 957, a character who was first mentioned by Sengoku. Since his debut, Oda has gradually developed this character and subtly hinted at his importance through characters like Kaido and later Kuma. Simultaneously, Oda has also been providing clues about the God Valley Incident, which was a significant event in the Elbaf arc, using characters such as Loki and more recently, the Holy Knights, who were known to be active at that time as well.
Regarding Rock, it’s undeniable that he met his end in the narrative. Rock proved too formidable for either Roger or Garp to handle individually, but their combined efforts led to his demise. Though his physical existence perished, the spirit of Rock lives on through Loki.
How Rocks’s Will Lives On Through Loki
Rocks Researched The Taboos of the World
One point that Sengoku emphasized was Rocks’ ambition to rule over the entire world, leading many fans to speculate he was pursuing Imu. Given Rocks’ tendency to delve into forbidden knowledge of the world, it’s reasonable to assume that in the world of One Piece, where exploring history is the most prohibited act, Rocks sought to uncover the truth about Imu and perhaps even bring him down somehow.
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but share the excitement that Rocks, a character we all know and love, once stepped foot in the legendary land of Elbaf. This was none other than confirmed by the trickster himself, Loki. Given Elbaf’s profound connection to the Solar Deity, Nika, it seems only fitting that Rocks would have graced its shores. The reason for his visit remains a mystery, but let your imagination run wild – perhaps it had something to do with Nika. During this enigmatic sojourn, Loki not only recognized the greatness in Rocks, he was so moved that he took a pounding just to join his crew! To this very day, Loki continues to admire Rocks, aspiring to emulate him in every way. For Loki, Rocks is like Shanks is to Luffy – a legend to be followed. He carries on Rocks’ legacy with unwavering respect.
Loki Is The Next Rocks In One Piece
Currently, in the world of One Piece, it’s Loki who seems to be embodying Rock’s legacy, a concept known as Inherited Will within the series. This is why Rock continues to exist through Loki and why many view Loki as a reincarnation of sorts for Rock. While characters like Blackbeard and Buggy share a history with Rock, it remains to be seen how Oda will develop these connections further. At present, it appears that Loki is the one tasked with carrying out Rock’s dream – overthrowing the King.
