NVIDIA is releasing DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, and the results are incredible. On RTX 50 Series cards, it can boost performance up to 3.9 times at 4K resolution with maximum settings. This isn’t a small increase – it almost quadruples your framerate, rather than just adding a few extra frames.
The ROG Strix RTX 5070 Ti OC utilizes the latest graphics technology, and a key improvement in DLSS 4 is how it generates extra frames. Instead of your graphics card rendering every frame, it now renders one, and then AI creates three additional frames to build a total of four. Older versions of DLSS could only add one AI-generated frame between each rendered frame, but this new version, powered by the Blackwell architecture, triples that capability. This is made possible by the card’s roughly 1,406 AI TOPS of processing power, which is built directly into the hardware, not just created through software.
As a Battlefield fan, let me tell you, playing a 64-player match in the new game feels so different. Before, when tons was happening – buildings falling, explosions everywhere – my framerate would tank, dropping from a smooth 90fps down to the 40s. It was rough! But now, thanks to Nvidia Reflex and DLSS, everything stays smooth. It’s like the game adds extra frames and cuts down on lag, even during the craziest battles. It’s a huge improvement!
This generation includes improvements to the technology behind Super Resolution and DLAA, resulting in noticeably better performance without sacrificing image clarity.
This graphics card boasts 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 memory, operating at a speed of 28 Gbps with a 256-bit interface. ASUS has overclocked the boost clock to 2,625 MHz. While some ASUS advertisements state 1,492 AI TOPS for this model, the reliable performance figure is 1,406 AI TOPS, as specified by NVIDIA for this generation of cards.
The cooling system is incredibly robust. It features three Axial-tech fans, a vapor chamber with a MaxContact base for efficient heat dissipation, and a special thermal pad that fills tiny gaps under the heatsink to maximize heat transfer. A digital power control system and high-quality 15K capacitors ensure stable performance even during long, demanding gaming sessions.
This card is quite large, so its dimensions are important to consider. It measures 332mm long and 64mm thick, and takes up 3.2 expansion slots in your computer case. While most mid-tower cases should have enough room, if you have a smaller case or a front-mounted radiator, be sure to check your available space before purchasing. It might not fit if space is limited.
On the back, you’ll find five video outputs: three DisplayPort 2.1b and two HDMI 2.1b ports. While the card is capable of supporting an extremely high 7680×4320 resolution, most users won’t need that level of detail for everyday use.
Purchase a qualifying NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, or 5070 graphics card, a desktop featuring one of these GPUs, or a laptop with one of these GPUs between October 7th and November 4th, and you’ll receive a free copy of ARC Raiders Deluxe Edition on Steam. Each person can only redeem one code, which you’ll find in the NVIDIA app after installing your new card. Make sure to redeem your code by December 2nd, or it will expire.
I’m so excited about the Deluxe Edition! It comes with the full game, plus a bunch of cool extras. You get the Wanderer Cosmetic Pack, which includes a really awesome outfit called the Valente, and some other gear to customize my character. There’s also the Astro Pack with a G-suit and attachments – I love being able to change up my look! And they’re even throwing in 2,400 Raider Tokens, which is a great bonus. It’s available everywhere, but unfortunately, it’s not available in places like Crimea, China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Belarus, Sudan, Syria, and Venezuela.
If you’re thinking of upgrading to play games like Battlefield 6, or you’ve been waiting for an affordable way to experience the RTX 50 Series, this graphics card is worth considering. It combines the new Blackwell architecture with DLSS 4 technology and ASUS’s excellent cooling system, letting you enjoy modern games at high settings without needing to spend a fortune on a top-of-the-line card like the 4090.
Battlefield 6 now supports DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation for improved performance. The ROG Strix RTX 5070 Ti OC graphics card is available now from retailers globally, and comes with the ARC Raiders bundle for a limited time – if you buy it before November 4th.
