ASUS has announced the ROG Ally will cost $599.99, while the more powerful ROG Ally X will be priced at $999.99. Although the handheld gaming devices aren’t officially available yet, you can pre-order both models from certain stores now.
One of the highlights from June’s Xbox Games Showcase was the reveal of the ROG Xbox Ally handhelds, designed to combine the best of console and PC gaming. Xbox showcased two models, with the ROG Xbox Ally X being the more powerful of the two. Now that the release date – October 16th – has been confirmed, details about pricing and how to pre-order have been announced.

You can now pre-order the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X before they officially launch. The Ally costs $599.99 and the Ally X is $999.99. The Ally X is available for pre-order at ASUS Shop, Best Buy, and Microsoft. The standard Ally has more options: you can find it on Amazon, Ant Online, ASUS Shop, Best Buy, Microsoft, and Walmart.
If you pre-order the new handheld gaming system through the ASUS Shop, you’ll be entered into a giveaway!
