Rogues Unlock Hidden Treasure in WoW Patch 11.1 – Don’t Miss Out!

Summary

  • Rogues can access a secret lockbox in World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 for a unique transmog and Renzik’s journal.
  • Players need to reach the Cut After Cut quest and visit Westfall Lighthouse to unlock the lockbox.
  • The Spare Uncrowned Vest transmog in the lockbox is a sleeveless version of the Eternal Bloodfang Chestpiece.

As a gamer in the World of Warcraft universe, I’ve discovered that in Patch 11.1, rogue characters like myself can unlock a hidden treasure chest. Inside this chest lies the Spare Uncrowned Vest transmog and a journal penned by Renzik “The Shiv.” This journal ties into his latest short story, adding depth to the lore for those who appreciate it. However, fans don’t have to play as a rogue to uncover this secret; they just need to complete most of the Undermine(d) campaign.

For a month now, the latest content update for “World of Warcraft,” titled Undermine, has been available to players. This has given them ample time to uncover many hidden mysteries scattered throughout this new expansion. One such secret that’s useful for all characters is the technique to submit completed C.H.E.T.T. Lists and earn Cartel reputation in the “World of Warcraft” update.

In the final stages of the Undermine(d) campaign, a secret hidden treasure is accessible solely to Rogue characters. This occurs during the Cut After Cut questline in Homecoming, which is the last chapter of the 11.1 campaign. Fans, accompanied by Matthias Shaw (SI:7 leader), explore the Westfall Lighthouse located at the bottom left corner of the zone’s map. On the left side of this building, there lies Renzik’s Lockbox, but only Rogues can unlock it. Inside this chest is found the Spare Uncrowned Vest Rogue transmog and Renzik’s Journal, which connects to “The Tipping Point,” a short story from World of Warcraft: Crossroads featuring the character Renzik “The Shiv.”

Rogue-Only Transmog and Lore in WoW Patch 11.1

  • Reach the Cut After Cut quest in the Homecoming chapter of the World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 campaign on any character
  • Unlock Renzik’s Lockbox to the left of the Westfall Lighthouse to obtain the Spare Uncrowned Vest and Renzik’s Journal with a Rogue
    • The lootbox can be opened by Rogues at level 10, but the transmog cannot be used until level 70

At this stage of the Undermine(d) narrative, Renzik’s Lockbox becomes visible to other characters. This means that players won’t have to repeat the campaign to obtain it. Rogues can travel to the Westfall Lighthouse as early as level 10 to unlock the chest, but the transmutation (transmog) feature cannot be utilized until a character reaches at least level 70.

In my gaming world, I’ve got this badge of honor – The Spare Uncrowned Vest. It’s like the armored sibling of the Eternal Bloodfang Chestpiece, part of the Rogue’s enhanced Tier 2 set that dropped during the 20th anniversary event in World of Warcraft. Interestingly enough, it’s also a super-detailed remake of the Vest of Artful Dodging, which was itself a sleeveless version of the original Bloodfang Chestpiece, something I earned back in Legion by showing off my skills at the Rogue Class Order Hall.

In Patch 11.1, there are more unique treats in store for Rogues beyond just the single surprise mentioned. The character Renzik “The Shiv,” who is pivotal to the storyline of Patch 11.1 within the World of Warcraft universe, makes an appearance in the Rogue Class Order Hall campaign. Additionally, characters such as Trade-Prince Marin Noggenfogger and Matthias Shaw from the Steamwheedle Cartel can be recruited as Champions. Interestingly, these two characters have special dialogue with Rogues, acknowledging them as leaders of the Uncrowned. However, a funny bug sometimes causes Noggenfogger to reveal his connection to the secret organization to any class member, rather than just Rogues – an unusual disclosure for someone who typically keeps such secrets hidden.
