As a dedicated gamer with years of experience under my belt, I’m always on the lookout for the latest and greatest titles to add to my ever-growing library. Recently, I’ve been keeping a close eye on Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s subscription service that offers access to a vast collection of games.
I’m excited to share that starting August 8, the Xbox Game Pass library will be adding the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. This information comes directly from a trusted source who has a reputation for accurately predicting new additions to the service.
Extras1, a reputable Spanish YouTuber known for accurate Microsoft news, announced back in early July that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is expected to join Xbox Game Pass in August 2024.
Approximately five weeks have passed, and eXtas1s has pinpointed a specific date for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy’s release on Microsoft’s subscription service. Taking to Twitter, eXtas1s declared with confidence that August 8 is the guaranteed arrival date. The initial leak from eXtas1s suggested that the remake trilogy would be accessible on both PC and consoles, but the support for Xbox Cloud Gaming remains uncertain.
Xbox Game Pass Is Finally Picking Up Pace With Activision Titles
Within the past day, Microsoft revealed that “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” will join Xbox Game Pass, effective July 24. This unexpected announcement, preceded by leaks, indicates a noticeable increase in the release of Activision Blizzard games on the platform. Since Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard in October 2023, only “Diablo 4” has been added to Xbox Game Pass in March. However, with the upcoming arrival of “Modern Warfare 3” and the recently leaked addition of “Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy,” it seems that Xbox Game Pass is now actively introducing Activision Blizzard’s titles to its catalog.
Beyond the summer of 2024, it’s been confirmed that “Call of Duty: Black Oops 6” will be available on Xbox Game Pass on its release date. This highly-anticipated FPS game is set to launch on October 25. There have also been whispers in the industry about “Spyro Reignited Trilogy” potentially joining Xbox Game Pass. These rumors started in April 2024 when the remake compilation mysteriously appeared on the Microsoft Store.
In the upcoming month, I’ll be keeping an eye out for new additions to Xbox Game Pass. So far, there are only two confirmed titles for August 2024: “Creatures of Ava” from Inverge Studios and “SOPA: Tale of the Stolen Potato” from StudioBando. Both are day-one releases, with “Creatures of Ava” set to drop on August 7. As for “SOPA,” its release date is still under wraps. However, I’ll have to say goodbye to three games at the end of July: “Venba,” “Train Sim World 4,” and “A Short Hike.”
