Recently, fresh information about an upcoming Intel Arrow Lake processor has surfaced, providing precise details on its specifications. Intelledgeded Intel’s Arrow Lake CPUs are predicted to hit the market toward the end of this year, with a formal unveiling slated for the Intel Innovation event scheduled in September.

In June, it came to light that Intel’s upcoming Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake processors, including those for desktops, would incorporate Skymont efficiency cores. These new cores boast over ten percent more instructions per clock (IPC) than the previous generation Crestmont cores. Each chip will include both Lion Cove performance cores and Skymont efficiency cores, resulting in a significant improvement in multithreaded performance. However, at Computex 2024, Intel declined to unveil its Intel Core Ultra 200 series CPUs based on the Arrow Lake microarchitecture despite showcasing new LGA-1851 motherboards.

According to Videocardz.com and Twitter user @wxnod, an unintended disclosure from CPU-Z presented fresh information about an imminent Intel Arrow Lake-S CPU. A snapshot from CPU-Z displays a “Revision B0” Intel Core Ultra xx5K prototype for the LGA-1851 socket. The snapshot indicates a 7nm chip, but this may be incorrect since Arrow Lake is projected to employ a more advanced manufacturing process. The upcoming Intel Core Ultra xx5K processor will boast eight performance cores and 16 efficiency cores, resulting in a total of 24 threads. Consequently, the new Arrow Lake chip promises substantial performance improvements compared to some top-tier Intel gaming CPUs from the 13th and 14th generations. Moreover, this upcoming CPU will have a power consumption of 125W and a clock speed that surpasses 5.0 GHz.

Intelf’s Arrow Lake CPUs are expected to hit the market around the same time as Lunar Lake. In contrast to Lunar Lake designed for low-powered laptops, Arrow Lake is geared towards mid-range and high-end hardware such as gaming laptops and desktop computers.
