While Microsoft hasn’t officially confirmed this new tier, it aligns with recent statements from Asha Sharma, who is exploring more affordable Game Pass options. A tier focused on older games could be attractive to players and would be less expensive for Xbox, as they wouldn’t need to pay licensing fees to other game companies.

There’s been a lot of talk about whether Xbox Game Pass will be available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
