Recent online leaks suggest the next *Pokemon* games (Generation 10) might have fewer tutorial sections than *Pokemon Legends: Z-A*. While players will still receive some guidance at the beginning of the game, the leaks indicate they’ll be given more freedom to explore once they unlock the ability to travel by sea.
While *Pokemon Legends: Z-A* is getting positive attention for its fresh approach to *Pokemon* battles and strategy, it’s also facing some criticism. The game has been targeted with negative reviews, some based on genuine concerns and others appearing intentionally low. Common complaints center around the game’s graphics on both the Switch and the new Switch 2, particularly the textures in Lumiose City. Also, a lengthy tutorial keeps players from fully exploring the city or using all its features until they progress through the main story.
Pokemon Gen 10 May Not Be As Tutorial-Focused As Legends: Z-A
Although unconfirmed, rumors suggest the next generation of *Pokemon* games (Gen 10) might address criticisms about the excessive tutorials in *Legends: Z-A*. According to leaks posted on social media in mid-October and reported by Centro on Twitter, Gen 10 will likely reduce the number of tutorials after players obtain a Pokemon capable of sailing. This should allow players to explore the various islands within the game’s region – an archipelago whose name hasn’t been revealed yet. However, tutorials will still be present in the initial area of the game, as the new mainline *Pokemon* games are typically designed with younger players in mind, unlike *Legends: Z-A*, which appeals to a broader audience.

So, I’ve been hearing rumors about the next *Pokemon* generation – Gen 10 – and it’s kinda crazy! Apparently, they might let you head straight for the final boss if you really want to. It wouldn’t be totally new, though. Remember *Breath of the Wild*? I managed to beat Calamity Ganon super early in that game, like within the first 20 minutes, and it was awesome. Sounds like they might be going for something similar in the new *Pokemon*!

After Centro shared some thoughts online, many Pokémon fans said they’d like to see fewer in-game tutorials in the next generation of games, Generation 10, compared to the recent game *Legends: Z-A*. While some details about Gen 10 have leaked, it’s still unclear what The Pokémon Company has planned for the future of the series.
