In the game Runescape: Dragonwilds, the Goblin Diplomacy quest resurfaces, but it’s not the same as the one in the original MMORPG. This time around, players must track down two amulets for a friendly goblin, but this task is not as simple as it sounds.
As a dedicated adventurer in Runescape: Dragonwilds, I found that the Goblin Diplomacy quest is unique compared to other missions. Instead of clear-cut markers guiding me, it only offers vague hints about potential locations. If you’re on the hunt for those elusive amulet spots within this quest, here’s a handy guide to help you out!
Where to Find the Goblin Diplomacy Amulets in Runescape: Dragonwilds
Your adventure starts when you chat with Zanik, a cordial goblin residing in a modest camp teetering on the cliff edge, eastward from Goblin Castle in Bramblemead Valley. Zanik will share that there are two amulets hidden; one lies to the north-east of your current location, while the other is tucked away within a guild situated to the south.
Alternatively, you can initiate the quest by locating the Reliquary on the isle situated in the heart of the little lake southeast from Zanik’s position. Interestingly, it appears that obtaining the amulet from there isn’t necessary for finishing the quest.
First Amulet
Initially, you’ll find the first talisman near Zanik’s encampment. Descend the cliffside and move northeast towards a small, run-down structure inhabited by goblins. Eliminate these foes, after which search for a Reliquary within the ruins. You’ll discover it hidden in a corner, behind some crates and an open barrel. The goblins may have more durability than usual, but they should prove no challenge with a basic stone club at your disposal.
Following this, engage with Bilegut, the goblin confined near the ruins. If you manage to liberate him and provide him with some sustenance (a couple of Steaks should suffice), he’ll share information that a Garou beastman, who dwells in a cave within the swamps, has taken the amulet.
Second Amulet
To locate the Garou beastman, venture towards the swamps that lie northeast of the ruins, then keep close to the left cliffside. Continue along the cliff, and you’ll soon stumble upon a cave entrance illuminated by a torch at its entryway. Within this cavern, you’ll encounter a Level 3 Garou Druid. Overpower it, and in return, you’ll receive the second amulet needed for Zanik.
In simpler terms, the druid deals quite a punch and if you haven’t improved your equipment yet, make sure your Lifeward is fully charged before engaging the fight. This will help you survive its attacks, considering it also uses poison which can rapidly diminish your health.
Goblin Diplomacy Rewards
Apart from the treasures you gather during your adventures and pointing out some interesting spots, playing Goblin Diplomacy will also grant you the Goblin War Banner as a reward. This cape enhances all your defensive stats against melee, ranged, and magical attacks by 2. It’s quite similar to the Pioneer’s Cape, one of the Early Adopter bonus rewards.
When you engage in Goblin Diplomacy, not only will you find treasure and discover landmarks, but you’ll also receive the Goblin War Banner as a reward. This cape boosts your defensive abilities against all types of attacks by 2, much like the Pioneer’s Cape, one of the Early Adopter bonus rewards.
