Sadie Sink Stole These Props From Stranger Things Set!

Summary

  • Sadie Sink, who plays Max in Stranger Things, struggled with saying goodbye to the show.
  • She took home personal items from the set, including her character’s skateboard and Walkmans.
  • The final season of Stranger Things is anticipated for late 2025.

Despite the fact that the popular Netflix series “Stranger Things” is wrapping up with season 5, one character seems to be handling this news more emotionally than others. Launched by Matt and Ross Duffer, this extraordinary show has been a staple on Netflix for seven years now, consistently delivering high-quality entertainment since its debut in 2017. In 2023 alone, it garnered an impressive viewership of 52 billion minutes.

Indeed, just as with any cherished series that has spanned many years, its conclusion is inevitable, and given that filming concluded on December 20, 2024, the final season is slated for a premiere towards the end of 2025. Fortunately, there are plans for Stranger Things spinoffs, ensuring fans won’t have to bid adieu to the supernatural saga indefinitely. However, not every cast member will reprise their roles. Although we know Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) won’t be at the forefront, it leaves room for fresh and intriguing characters to emerge within the franchise.

Sadie Sink Reveals the Props From Stranger Things Set She Took Home

In a chat with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Sadie Sink – known for portraying Max in Stranger Things – shared that parting ways with the show she grew up with has been a challenging emotional journey for her. To help cope, she confessed to holding onto some memorabilia from the set, such as Max’s distinctive Walkmans filled with Kate Bush tunes, shoes, and noteworthy props like Max’s skateboard.

I grabbed quite a few things, mainly the essentials, such as Max’s skateboard, which he gave to me. The skateboard, some Walkmans, Kate Bush cassettes, Vans shoes, and assorted items are among those I took. It includes every pair of shoes that Max wears.

As a die-hard fan and collector of all things Max for decades now, I’ve found myself in a predicament. My home has started to resemble a sacred sanctuary more than a living space, but given that I joined the Stranger Things family at just 13 years old, it seems only fitting that I retain these treasured keepsakes that have stood by me throughout all these years. Just like Finn Wolfhard (Mike) and Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), fellow cast members, we’ve shared our feelings about the looming end of this extraordinary journey, and how profoundly emotional it has become for each one of us. The fifth season of Stranger Things is expected to drop sometime this year, but the Duffer brothers have hinted that the series might not make its 2025 release window after all.

Excitedly speaking, I eagerly anticipate the premiere of Stranger Things season five on Netflix, tentatively scheduled for some time in 2025. Here’s hoping!
