Summary
- The world of One Piece has been destroyed twice: during the Void Century and by ancient weapons.

- Sanji’s goal of reaching the All Blue is intertwined with Nika’s mission for a free world and the destruction of the Red Line.
In a breathtakingly fascinating manner, the realm of “One Piece” is overflowing with mysteries, leaving fans captivated by its enigma. It’s no secret to devotees that this world conceals a treasure trove of thrilling secrets, including those related to the Void Century and beyond. As each new chapter unfolds, fans are inching ever closer to unraveling the most profound and shadowy secrets of the world. The climactic tale has proven exceptionally effective in this respect, revealing tantalizing glimpses into the lore of the Void Century and the Sun God Nika.
I’ve observed that Nika, the Warrior of Liberation, plays a crucial role in the Elbaf arc, as their long-standing religious devotion suggests. Interestingly, Nika appears to have a direct connection with Luffy, but it seems there might be another Straw Hat crew member who shares a parallel with Nika – none other than Sanji, our culinary maestro.
The Two Destructions Of The World
- The World Of One Piece Has Been Destroyed Two Times
- Joy Boy Was Present During The Second Destruction
Considering the numerous events that have unfolded in the One Piece universe, it’s no wonder that the world has been devastated not once, but twice. The most recent of these catastrophes was the Void Century, a period during which a kingdom flourished – the Ancient Kingdom, known for its immense power, prosperity, and technological advancement unmatched in centuries. In fact, even the highly advanced Egghead pales in comparison to the scientific prowess of this kingdom, which existed over 900 years ago.
However, this period of peace was shattered by a great conflict, known as the Great War, during which the 20 King alliance confronted the Ancient Kingdom and, after a 100-year battle, ultimately brought about their destruction. This war was colossal in scale, and its effects on the planet were catastrophic. The world itself sank during this prolonged conflict.
200 meters of sea level increase was noted worldwide, submerging most countries completely. The surviving land masses are now recognized as the various islands that make up the Grand Line. This catastrophic event, marked by the Sun God Nika appearing as Joy Boy, is believed to be the final destruction of our world.
According to our ancient text, Harleys, the world has been destroyed two times already. — Jarul
Previously, I’d lived in a world drastically altered by a cataclysmic event – a war so immense it was waged during the epoch of the legendary Nika, hailing from the mystical realm of Elabaf. This colossal figure, whose epic tales still echo among certain circles, was instrumental in a conflict that reshaped the entire cosmos. It’s unclear whether Nika embodies the spirit of liberation or destruction, but one thing is certain: wherever Nika goes, change follows – a reality that those with power dread.
Sanji’s Dream Of The All Blue And The Free World
Sanji Wants To Find The Sea That Has It All
Fans are well aware that Sanji harbors an ambitious dream: discovering the legendary ocean known as the All Blue. This ocean is said to be shrouded in myth, as it’s believed to contain water from all four blues mixed together, making it a home for every imaginable marine creature. It’s often referred to as a cook’s paradise due to its rich biodiversity. Sanji yearns to find the All Blue, and this quest is as grand as the quest for the One Piece. Although it may appear small on the surface, fans understand that the All Blue holds significant implications, particularly given the world’s sinking in the past. The world was once vast, with a tremendous amount of land, but due to the use of Ancient Weapons, it sank long ago, leaving behind only fragments of its former grandeur.
Hey, do you know about the All Blue? It’s a miraculous sea where fish of all types exist! — Sanji
Before the event you mentioned, it’s plausible that the Red Line was constructed, potentially by the initial adversary of the true Sun God Nika. This Red Line is certainly not commonplace. It could have been built either by the World Government during their conflict with Joy Boy, or by the enemy that the Sun God Nika fought prior to Joy Boy’s arrival. It’s evident that this massive continent was constructed, which ultimately divided the seas, thus signifying the end of All Blue.
I find myself contemplating on similarities between two remarkable figures: Nika, an ancient warrior, and Joy Boy. Both seemed deeply passionate about preserving the All Blue, perhaps viewing it as a symbol of freedom. Just as Nika battled a formidable adversary centuries past, Joy Boy appeared to fiercely oppose the submergence of the world, striving tirelessly to halt this event.
The All Blue is intrinsically linked with liberty, for its inception necessitated the obliteration of the Red Line and those who ruled supreme, the World Government. In this sense, Sanji’s aspirations might be an extension of the dreams once held by Joy Boy, and perhaps even the original Sun God Nika.
Will Luffy and Sanji’s Dreams Be Connected?
Sanji And Luffy’s Goals Have Always Been Connected
Sanji aspires to discover the elusive ocean called the All Blue, a place that is hard to find and shrouded in mystery. While there are hints about the Void Century and the story of One Piece, the All Blue remains an enigma with no known facts about it yet. However, at the end of One Piece, Sanji will undoubtedly uncover it. To achieve this, he must fulfill the dream of the Sun God Nika. Luffy, Joy Boy, and Nika also share this goal, and all are connected through a common theme – Liberation. Although Sanji isn’t focused on freeing the world, he supports everyone’s freedom, his true desire lies in exploring the All Blue. Similarly, Luffy, Joy Boy, and Nika might not have been interested in the All Blue initially, but they aim for a liberated world where traveling is easy for all. These two ambitions are intertwined as Sanji seeks the All Blue and Nika represents global freedom. Only by breaking down the Red Line can both dreams be realized, resulting in the liberation of the world and the creation of the All Blue. This makes Sanji’s goal uniquely important.
