Housemarque, the creators behind the hit game ‘Returnal’, recently unveiled their forthcoming ‘Saros’. This exciting new project was showcased during PlayStation’s ‘State of Play’ broadcast towards the end of last Wednesday’s presentation.
2026 marks the debut of Saros, exclusively for PlayStation 5. Created by Rahul Kohil, this game shares science fiction elements reminiscent of Returnal. At its unveiling, a captivating cinematic trailer was released, offering glimpses into the game’s narrative.
The game is set on the distant planet Carcosa, where a foreboding eclipse looms. You assume the character of Arjun Devraj, a potent enforcer from the Soltari faction, embarking on a quest to uncover mysteries in a missing off-world colony.
In Saros, the world changes permanently each time you die, providing fresh upgrades to help you tackle obstacles. This game also offers a gripping narrative, intense third-person action, and a convincing portrayal by actor Rahul Kohli. Saros represents the next step in Housemarque‘s gameplay-focused gaming experience.
