Sasuke’s Unmatched Skills: What Naruto Can Never Do!

Summary

  • Naruto’s focus shifted to Sasuke, neglecting side characters.
  • Sasuke’s control, power, and cold demeanor set him apart from Naruto.
  • Sasuke’s selfish manipulation of others highlights his dark journey.

Let’s choose a stance now, as it’s high time to stir up discussions among the devoted fans of the beloved anime series, Naruto! Being one of the original “Big 3” manga, Naruto has significantly influenced the mold of the typical shonen protagonist. However, the way Kishimoto managed his expansive cast in this iconic manga is a sensitive topic. Unfortunately, many side characters that could have been more prominent were overlooked, while much attention was given to Naruto’s rival, Sasuke.

The central theme of this series was largely driven by their fierce competition. Their exchanges weren’t merely humorous; they were also filled with intense emotional episodes. Moreover, they each managed to acquire extraordinary abilities through their mutual struggles. However, it’s worth noting that there were certain abilities one could perform that the other couldn’t. As Naruto was the primary character, we mainly viewed events from his point of view. Luckily, Sasuke wasn’t a pushover; he held his own.

Warning! Spoilers Ahead!

1. The Try-Hard Tough Guy Act

Sasuke’s Composed, Distant, And Silent Nature Was A Major Draw

Looking back when Naruto was still being serialized (excluding Boruto), the manga boasted a vibrant ensemble of characters. Naruto, the protagonist, was known for his boisterousness, recklessness, and frequent clumsiness, earning him the label as “the most hyperactive, boneheaded ninja of the leaf” from his mentor Kakashi. In stark contrast, Sasuke was characterized by his aloof demeanor, cool composure, and occasionally rude behavior. This contrast between the two was like day and night.

Sasuke’s calm exterior stemmed from a personal choice to keep relationships at arm’s length to focus solely on his pursuit of power. To him, emotional ties were potential hindrances in his journey towards strength, a notion Naruto found difficult to comprehend. This behavior was instinctive for Sasuke and he carried it out without apology.

2. Precision & Finesse

The Level Of Control And Elegance In His Physical Movement And Chakra Control

Unlike Sasuke, Naruto wasn’t a naturally gifted ninja. This disparity becomes evident when they’re all part of Team 7 during their training. Naruto’s ability to control chakra and master ninjutsu (and its utilization) usually demanded rigorous practice and innovative techniques. These instances led to some amusing escapades for Naruto, but they also underscored Sasuke’s skillset.

From the get-go, it was evident that Sasuke excelled without a hitch. He swiftly grasped techniques like the Chidori, the cursed seal, and the Sharingan. His actions were sharp and agile, his strategic mind always one move ahead. A clear demonstration of this can be seen in how he consistently outmaneuvered those who pursued him following the time skip. Compared to Naruto, Sasuke’s mastery at such a lofty level is an achievement unparalleled.

3. The Rebel Lifestyle

Leaving The Hidden Leaf Village Was No Small Feat, And Naruto Would Never Do It

Throughout the manga series set in the secret Leaf Village, Naruto tirelessly built relationships with those around him, including Sasuke, despite many harboring dislike towards him. Despite their unusual mix of rivalry and camaraderie, Naruto held dearly to the moments spent with Sasuke (some might even say, to an extraordinary degree). Therefore, when Sasuke performed the unimaginable by abandoning his village in pursuit of power, it left readers utterly astonished. However, such a betrayal would never cross Naruto’s mind.

Sasuke carried out his actions in a frosty manner and departed unexpectedly. He cut off all connections with everyone swiftly and without showing any emotion. While Orochimaru might have provided the spark, it was undoubtedly Sasuke who chose the path towards darkness.

4. Manipulate Others Selfishly

Sasuke’s Self-Serving Single-Mindedness Often Put His Taka Comrades In Danger

Through the relentless drive for power and retribution overshadowing all else, Sasuke developed a surprising simplicity similar to Naruto. However, unlike Naruto whose motivation was rooted in his sincere longing for his friend, Sasuke was driven by a chilling thirst for vengeance. To fulfill this goal, following the destruction of Orochimaru, Sasuke assembled his own group, known as the Taka.

Sasuke exploited the members of Taka, prioritizing his ambitions over their welfare. He abused Karin’s feelings for him and used her healing powers to his advantage. Jugo idolized Sasuke excessively, but Sasuke took advantage of this admiration, using Jugo as a tool or protector. Naruto, on the other hand, would never think of treating his teammates in such a manipulative manner.

5. Fight The Five Kages

One Of The Most Awesome Moments In The Series That Won’t Be Duplicated

Supporters adore intense confrontations in the anime Naruto, and it’s always an impressive sight when strong ninjas engage in combat. One of its most popular fights among fans is the battle between Sasuke and the Five Kages. This renegade shinobi, who has reached super saiyan levels by this point, managed to outsmart and overpower each of the five leaders of the hidden villages separately. Essentially, he was using Susanoo’s power as a kind of invincibility shield at that stage in the storyline.

In the captivating tale I’m immersed in, my character, Naruto, had undergone numerous enhancements by that stage. Among these advancements was his proficiency in Sage mode. Hypothetically, Naruto might have equaled Sasuke’s achievement, but a deep-rooted principle prevented him from engaging in battle with his comrades and friends. Therefore, adhering to this moral compass, Naruto would never engage the Five Kages in combat as Sasuke did—even though he possessed the capability to do so.

6. Technically Defeat Itachi Uchiha

Kind Of Stretching It, But It Is Something Only Sasuke Did And Not Naruto

In the captivating world of Naruto, one of the most intriguing figures is Itachi Uchiha, the elder brother of Sasuke. Initially, Sasuke held Itachi responsible for the clan’s massacre, a belief that fueled his quest for revenge. However, it was later unveiled that Itachi followed the instructions of the village Elders in this tragic event. Despite this revelation, Sasuke honed his powers to a level he believed would allow him to defeat Itachi. Their confrontations ensued, and… according to the established narrative, Sasuke emerged victorious. However, it’s worth noting that there are alternative interpretations of their encounters.

To put it simply, when Itachi and Sasuke clashed, Itachi was already weakened by illness and physical limitations. Yet, even in his state, he managed to toss Sasuke around. This is quite terrifying because until then, no one, not even Sasuke, had ever matched their opponents as thoroughly as he did. After Itachi’s health deteriorated further, the fight technically ended with Sasuke being declared the winner. Such a feat is incredibly rare and almost impossible to replicate, not even Naruto could achieve it in this manner.

7. Mastery Of His Kekkai Genkai

Base, Mangekyou, Eternal Sharingan, Rinnegan, Indra’s Lineage

The Uchiha bloodline of Sasuke grants exceptional abilities unique to his lineage. This ranges from the basic Sharingan to its advanced form, the Mangekyou Sharingan, and eventually the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. These transformations come with a variety of potent techniques such as Amaterasu, Susanoo, and Tsukyoumi. Moreover, Sasuke’s power is further amplified by the Rinnegan.

Sasuke traces his ancestry back to Indra Otsutsuki, the elder son of the Wise One of the Six Paths. This lineage grants him the extraordinary ability called Indra’s Arrow, an ultimate destruction technique that neither Naruto nor any other character can wield – making it all about Sasuke in this battle.

8. Marry Sakura

Sasuke Got The One That Got Away From Naruto, Kind Of

Initially, Naruto’s deep affection, often referred to as his first love or crush, was directed towards Sakura. However, it’s important to note that I’m just relaying the facts! As time passed, Hinata became Naruto’s true love, but he remained deeply smitten with Sakura. Unfortunately, Sakura’s feelings were not reciprocated by Sasuke, creating a complex emotional dynamic. In the end, despite the hopes of many NaruSaku supporters, it was Sasuke who won Sakura’s heart.

In the course of events, Naruto realizes that Sakura wasn’t his ideal match, particularly after Hinata made her heartfelt confession. Given that Sasuke and Sakura are married now, it seems unlikely that any other romantic relationships, such as one involving Naruto, will materialize in the future.
