As a seasoned Satisfactory player with countless hours spent optimizing factories and exploring alien worlds, the arrival of FISCMAS has me positively giddy! The game’s first update since its grand 1.0 release is a delightful surprise, adding a touch of holiday cheer to my otherwise industrial life.
This year’s “FISCMAS” update for Satisfactory, developed by Coffee Stain Studios, has been released! It includes a fresh research tree, festive decorations, and additional features to enhance your gaming experience.
Since the game reached version 1.0 this year, the upcoming update is particularly thrilling because it’s been a while since the game was officially launched. Coffee Stain announces: “It’s time for FICSMAAAAS! In this limited-time update, players will notice gifts raining down from above, a fresh research tree in the MAM, and an advent calendar without chocolate in the HUB. By engaging in exploration, production, and opening advent calendar doors, players can unlock new holiday decorations such as ornaments, candy canes, snow, and even a grand FICSMAS tree.
Excitedly speaking as a fan, I can’t contain my enthusiasm as the much-anticipated update (being the first significant one since version 1.0) has just been released on both Steam and Epic Games Store! Here are the main points you should know:
Advent Calendar
- From December 1st-25th, players can check the advent calendar daily by opening the relevant door to receive a new reward
- These rewards include resources, festive skins, FICSMAS recipes, decorations, FICSIT Coupons, snow, and much more
If you’re having trouble locating the correct door, you’ll find a helpful suggestion button conveniently placed in the lower right corner of the menu.
Gift Drops
- Keep your eyes on the sky as massive presents parachute softly to the ground across MASSAGE-2(A-B)b
- Secure these FICSMAS Gifts and process them in MAM research and production buildings to unlock new items
New MAM Research
- The FICSMAS Holiday Event research tree is now available for players to complete with 13 research items to discover
Satisfactory FICSMAS Optional Event
- FICSMAS is an optional event which can be toggled on and off in the settings menu
Format Changes
- FICSMAS Gift drops are now smaller in size, making them less of an obstacle and much easier to secure
- Data cartridges are now available in the advent calendar, which are used in the new MAM research tree
- Many FICSMAS event recipes are now available through the advent calendar, making it easier for players to progress should they misplace a key item
