Those who enjoy *Jujutsu Kaisen* are finding the new season, *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo*, increasingly captivating. Even though it’s just begun, the story’s setup is already thrilling, and fans are eager to see where creator Gege Akutami takes it. The setting has shifted forward in time – 68 years have passed since the intense Shinjuku Showdown, where Akutami showcased a battle between the two most powerful characters.

I watched as Gojo Satoru, widely considered the most powerful sorcerer of our time, finally clashed with Ryomen Sukuna, who everyone agrees is the strongest of all time. It was an incredible fight, but tragically, Gojo lost his life. Though fans are mourning his loss, the jujutsu world hasn’t stopped moving, and a new, incredibly powerful sorcerer is already stepping up to potentially take his place.

Gojo utilized his unique abilities, including his Six Eyes and Limitless technique, while Sukuna countered with his Shrine and the formidable Ten Shadows Technique.

Ultimately, Gojo Satoru was defeated, a necessary event to move the plot forward. Many fans were saddened by Gojo’s death and hoped for his return, waiting over a year for any sign of resurrection. However, it now appears Gojo Satoru will remain deceased and won’t be coming back to the story.

Although Gojo Satoru is gone, the story of *Jujutsu Kaisen* continues. Yuji Itadori has emerged as the new strongest, alongside Yuta Okkotsu. Gojo’s students also grew incredibly powerful, becoming legends in their own right. After the Shinjuku Showdown, these two were considered the most powerful in Japan. Now, time has passed, and a new generation is taking over.

It’s been 68 years since the events of the Shinjuku Showdown, and a new generation of powerful sorcerers has emerged. Following the deaths of Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin, fans are anticipating who will take their place as the next key players, and the answer appears to be becoming clear.

Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, the grandchildren of Yuta and Maki, are poised to become incredibly powerful. Both are highly motivated to reach their full potential. Yuka, in particular, aims to match the strength of her grandfather, Yuta Okkotsu, who was considered the strongest sorcerer – or one of the strongest – after Gojo Satoru’s death and Ryomen Sukuna’s defeat.

This suggests Yuka is destined to achieve this level of power within the *JJK Modulo* storyline. Importantly, fans believe Yuka and Tsurugi are evenly matched, so if that remains true, Tsurugi will also likely become the strongest character by the end of *JJK Modulo*.
