One Piece is currently incredibly exciting! After years of anticipation, the author, Oda, is finally showing us what happened at God Valley. Now that the story is reaching its most intense moments, the God Valley arc is nearing its conclusion, and it’s been a truly thrilling part of the manga. Oda has revealed a lot of fascinating backstory, and major battles are on the horizon.
Although the story has been fantastic recently, a break for One Piece was expected. Unfortunately, it’s been announced that there will be a pause after chapter 1165 is released on November 9th. The manga will be back with chapter 1166 on November 23, 2025, after a two-week hiatus.

A Break Begins On November 9
One Piece has been running for over 28 years, and its creator, Eiichiro Oda, has worked incredibly hard on it. The long-running series has definitely been demanding on him. Fans are aware that Oda often only sleeps for 2-3 hours each day. Since last year, he’s started taking more breaks to rest.
October was a slow month for the manga, with only two new chapters released. Things are picking up in November, but Eiichiro Oda, the creator, is planning to take his first break from the series soon.
Following the release of One Piece chapter 1165 on November 2, 2025, the manga will pause for a short time. This break will allow the author to plan future story developments and work on upcoming chapters. The pause is expected to last about two weeks before the series resumes.
When Will One Piece 1166 Come Out?
One Piece Will Return On November 23
One Piece fans are curious about when new chapters will be released after a recent break announcement. Fortunately, this break is typical, and the manga will continue as planned, returning two weeks after November 9th. This means chapter 1166 is expected to be released on November 23, 2026.
Fans are hoping this is the only pause in releases this November, allowing for at least three new chapters to be published and keeping the story moving.
