The One Piece anime has been consistently good since the beginning of the Egghead arc, and it’s really hit its stride now that the arc is reaching its peak. The Straw Hat Pirates and their friends are facing off against the Five Elders in a desperate attempt to escape.
The recent episodes of One Piece have been fantastic, but unfortunately, the anime will be taking a short break. Instead of a new episode on November 23, 2025, viewers will see a recap. The anime is expected to return within a week, continuing the exciting Egghead arc as it moves towards its climax.
The One Piece Anime Is Going On Break On November 23
One major frustration for One Piece anime fans this year has been the frequent interruptions in new episodes. Since the anime returned after a six-month pause, Toei Animation has been releasing breaks roughly every month, and sometimes even more often.
Typically, viewers receive around three new episodes of One Piece each month, but there will be a pause in releases. Episode 1151, originally scheduled for November 23rd, has been delayed. Because this episode was expected to be a highlight of the Egghead arc, many fans are understandably upset.
Instead of a new episode, One Piece fans will get a recap episode – episode 1151 – focusing on past events. As always, Chopper will be featured in this recap. The episode will also provide a quick review of the character Vegapunk for viewers who need a reminder.
The One Piece Anime Will Make A Comeback On November 30
With the One Piece anime taking a break, fans are eager to find out when episode 1151 will air. This break will last for two weeks, which means the episode will be delayed by one week. Originally planned for November 23, 2025, One Piece Episode 1151 will now be released on November 30, 2025.
Simply put, chapter 1151 of One Piece will be released at the end of November. This means there will be three new chapters this month, which is one more than the two released in October.
Episode 1150 of One Piece will be released later this week. You can watch the entire series on Crunchyroll, and the next episode will be available as usual next Sunday.
