As more games become digital, there’s a growing concern about losing access to titles we’ve purchased. While physical copies are still relatively safe, online-only games often disappear after a while, unless they’re hugely popular like Fortnite or Warzone. Every month, several games stop working, and November 2025 will be no different. Many projects will be removed from sale, and some will become completely unplayable.
Here’s a look at the games being removed in November 2025. We’ll cover titles that will disappear completely, as well as those being taken off certain platforms. We’ll also list games shutting down their online servers and those being removed from digital stores, even if you can still play them.
So, that “4” in the title? It means there are four games that are getting completely taken offline after November – you won’t be able to play them at all anymore. It’s a bummer, but good to know if you’re still trying to get your time in with them!
Dark And Darker – Epic Games Store (November 1)
Extraction Shooter Leaving Epic Games Store
Dark and Darker has had a rocky road since its release. The player-versus-player-versus-environment dungeon crawler remains popular in early access on platforms like Steam, but it’s been caught up in significant controversy. Most recently, Nexon filed a lawsuit claiming copyright infringement.
As a result, Dark and Darker is no longer available on the Epic Games Store, and anyone who purchased it will have it removed from their library. The game will still be accessible on Steam – simply download the installer and create a Blacksmith account to play. This situation is unusual, as it’s rare for a game to be removed from only one store. If you currently play Dark and Darker on the Epic Games Store, you’ll likely need to switch to the Steam launcher in the future.
1V1.LOL (November 3)
Battle Royale Shutting Down For Good
Battle royale games aren’t as widespread as they once were, partly because many of them don’t stay popular for very long. While the genre still has fans, a few major titles control most of the player base, making it hard for new games to succeed. 1V1.LOL did surprisingly well, lasting five years on both PC and mobile. It once had over 10,000 players on Steam at its peak, and likely performed even better on mobile platforms. However, the number of players has been steadily decreasing over the past few years, and recently dropped below 100 on Steam.

JustPlayLOL has announced that its game, 1V1.LOL, will stop running on November 3rd. After that date, the game won’t be playable at all. It’s already been taken off app stores, but players on Steam and through web browsers can still play until November 3rd.
Deceit (November 6)
Social Deduction Game Is Closing Its Servers, But Lives On In Sequel
The social deduction game Deceit, which originally launched in 2017, is being retired. While the original game will still be accessible in some form, its developer is shutting it down permanently. Deceit was popular as one of the first games of its kind, challenging players to identify the infected member(s) of their group. However, the game has faced issues, including security concerns, and with the release of Deceit 2, the developer decided to end support for the older, outdated version and conclude its run.
 Steamcharts.com
Steamcharts.com It’s interesting to note that the original Deceit actually had more players than Deceit 2 for a while, according to Steamcharts.com data. Even after the announcement that the first game would be shutting down, Deceit 2 didn’t see a huge jump in players. Deceit 2 does include a Legacy Mode, which aims to recreate the feeling of the original game for those who miss it.
PUBG – PS4 And Xbox One (November 13)
PUBG Ending On PS4 And Xbox One To Make Way For The PS5 And Xbox Series
As a long-time PUBG fan, it’s pretty wild to think the game is entering a new chapter! On November 13th, it’s finally coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, which is awesome news because it should mean a much smoother and more stable experience with updates. The good news is it’ll look and play even better than before. But, sadly, that also means the PS4 and Xbox One versions are going offline after about seven years. It’s a little sad to see those older versions go, but I’m excited for what this means for the future of the game!
As a long-time fan, it’s tough to see support ending for the older consoles, especially since they were so important in building PUBG‘s community. Honestly, I think this should have happened a while ago to really focus on the game’s future. But I’m hoping this means the console version will finally feel as polished and great as the PC version – that’s what I’m really excited about!
Tribe Nine (November 27)
Gacha RPG Shutting Down In Less Than A Year
Just under a year after its launch, Tribe Nine will be shutting down at the end of November 2025. While the game briefly attracted nearly 10,000 players on Steam, it has averaged fewer than 50 users since June 2025. This low player count makes it impossible to maintain an online game that relies on a strong, active community – something Tribe Nine struggled to build.
Tribe Nine had a difficult start, making it really hard to earn rewards without spending money. Although the game was later updated to be more friendly to free players, the initial experience had already turned many people away. It’s a shame, because Tribe Nine stands out visually from other gacha games and has a good core gameplay system.
EA Sports FC Empires (November 30)
Region-Specific Early Access Game Shutting Down

So, this is a bit of a weird one. EA’s mobile game, FC Empires, never really had a full launch – it stayed in early access and only came out in a couple of places like Brazil and the UK. We in North America never even got a chance to try it! That’s why it’s a little surprising to hear they’re shutting down the servers on November 30th. I was hoping it would become a good alternative to Football Manager – we could really use another solid football management game – but sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. I never got to play it myself, but it’s a shame to see it go.
Games Shutting Down Online Servers In November 2025
EA Is Shutting Down Servers For A Few Old(er) Racing Games
Electronic Arts announced that online services for four of its racing games will be discontinued on November 8th. While you won’t be able to play online with these games after that date, the offline single-player portions will remain accessible.
- Dirt 3 – November 8
- Dirt Showdown – November 8
- Grid Autosport – November 8
- Grid 2 – November 8
Games Being Delisted In November 2025 (But Can Still Be Played By Owners)
Last Chance To Buy Original Versions Of Atelier Ryza and Surviving Mars
Several games will be taken off digital storefronts in November 2025, but most will be re-released as updated versions. If you already own any of these games, you’ll still be able to play them. However, they won’t be available for new purchases. If you’re interested in any of these titles, now’s the time to buy them—though you might want to wait a few days to see if they go on sale before they’re removed.
