Fans of *One Piece* always disagree about which story arcs are the best, and for good reason. The series has so many fantastic arcs that it’s hard to pick just one! Some people favor Marineford, while others prefer the Water 7 and Enies Lobby arcs. Many fans also believe Wano is the high point of the entire series.

Fans have strong opinions about the best *One Piece* arcs – some love the detailed world-building of Skypiea, and others think Egghead is the peak of the story. However, almost everyone agrees that the Marineford arc is truly exceptional, not just within *One Piece*, but as a manga story overall. It’s understandable why many consider it the best arc, and it now appears that the author, Oda, is building towards a new conflict similar in scale to Marineford.

The Marineford arc was a major turning point for One Piece. This arc caused sales to dramatically increase, including a huge number of backlogged copies being purchased. While sales are important, the Marineford arc was truly amazing. Even with a limited number of key characters, it created a unique and unforgettable experience. It seems like Oda is planning another arc similar to Marineford, but with a different setup this time.

As many fans recall, the original Marineford was completely destroyed during the fierce battle between the Whitebeard Pirates and the Navy. Following this, the World Government built a new headquarters called New Marineford in the dangerous New World. This demonstrated the Marines’ ability to recover and also served as a clear signal to the powerful Yonko that the Marines are determined to be a stronger presence in the New World. New Marineford represents hope for the Navy, but its existence will be short-lived.

As many fans know, the Revolutionary Army is causing major problems for the World Government. They’re currently attacking Marijoa, and a full-scale war has started. The Holy Knights are sure to respond soon, but the Marines, the World Government’s main military force, will also have to deal with the Revolutionary Army. If Akainu and the Holy Knights focus on the Revolutionaries, New Marineford will be left vulnerable, and that will likely have serious consequences.

Blackbeard Could Lead To “New Marineford Arc”

As soon as New Marineford is left without protection, Blackbeard is expected to seize the opportunity and attack. Following in his father’s footsteps – who defeated an Admiral – Teach could likely take down Kizaru and claim the island. He might then use this location to execute both Garp and Kizaru, sparking a massive conflict with the World Government and the Marines.
