Say Hello To The Next Commander Of The Straw Hat Grand Fleet

This article contains spoilers from One Piece’s Elbaf Arc.

The Straw Hat Grand Fleet is a major power in the world of One Piece. Though recently formed, it has quickly become incredibly strong and influential. According to the author, Oda, the fleet will continue to expand and eventually have a significant impact on the seas. While already powerful, fans believe the Straw Hat Grand Fleet still has the potential to become even stronger.

The Straw Hat Grand Fleet currently has seven powerful leaders, and they’re about to get even stronger with the addition of a new, incredibly formidable commander. Many believe this final member will be Prince Loki from Elbaf.

The Straw Hat Grand Fleet Is Slowly Growing In The Final Saga

  • Established in Dressrosa
  • Continuously gaining strength since

The Straw Hat Grand Fleet has been mentioned a few times in the Final Saga, but we haven’t seen them directly involved in the story yet. This isn’t necessarily a problem, though, as Oda already hinted at their future role after the Dressrosa arc.

The ship captains were all developing their own unique styles, and the narrator believed their paths would eventually converge, leading to a significant event at sea. However, that moment was still distant.

The Straw Hat Grand Fleet came together after the events at Dressrosa, when seven powerful captains swore their allegiance to Luffy with a sake-sharing ceremony. They became lifelong followers, and while we haven’t seen much of them since, Oda made it clear they would become stronger and more well-known, eventually playing a significant role in a huge event.

The Straw Hat Grand Fleet is still expanding, even though we haven’t seen them fully utilized in the story yet. While fans aren’t currently following their activities closely, they’re clearly getting stronger, and when they finally enter the fray, their power as a fighting force will be revealed.

Loki Could Join The Grand Fleet As A Commander Very Soon

  • Loki is unwilling to join the Straw Hats for now
  • He will want to follow Luffy

At the moment, the Straw Hat Grand Fleet has seven mighty captains, and they include:

  • Cavendish
  • Bartolomeo
  • Don Sai
  • Leo
  • Ideo
  • Orlumbus
  • Hajrudin

While each of these pirates has their strengths, they aren’t among the most powerful on the seas. Therefore, the Straw Hat Grand Fleet would benefit from gaining some truly strong new members, and Loki could be a great fit.

Loki had been imprisoned in Elbaf, preventing him from sailing the seas as he once did after his battle with Shanks. Now that he’s escaped, after he protects his home from Imu and the Demon Army, he’ll have two choices to consider.

I am the Sun God, a legendary figure in this land. Mortal, you must not address me without my consent. I am the strongest being in the Lands. This is Warland, the kingdom of Elbaf, a nation built on and defined by conflict – once the most powerful in the world. And I, Loki, am the one who will bring it all to an end! — Loki’s introduction during the Elbaf Arc.

Honestly, I’d love to see Loki just become the tenth member of the Straw Hats! Luffy already seemed keen on having him join, which is a huge sign. But if Eiichiro Oda decides that doesn’t quite fit the story, I think the next best thing would be for Loki to officially join the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. That way, he’s still connected to Luffy and the crew, and could pop in and out of adventures with them!

Loki’s half-brother, Hajrudin, is already with the Grand Fleet, so it would be a logical next step for Loki to join too. This could finally create a solid alliance between Elbaf and the Straw Hat Pirates.

Loki Would Become The Strongest Member Of The Grand Fleet

  • Loki is above Yonko level

If Loki joined the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, he’d almost certainly be their strongest member. His power rivals and even surpasses the strongest pirates in the One Piece world, the Yonko. Big Mom herself believed that marrying Loki would have given her the strength to defeat Whitebeard and Shanks and become the Pirate King. This is due to Loki’s incredible abilities – he’s defeated a king and possesses both a legendary Devil Fruit from Elbaf and the immensely powerful Warhammer Ragnir. These powers could place him above even the Yonko, making him an enormous asset to any crew.

Loki wouldn’t gain anything by hiding in Elbaf. He’s driven by a desire to avenge his father, who was defeated by Imu and the World Government, and he wants to dismantle the current world system – much like Rocks and Nika before him. He needs to actively pursue that goal, not remain in seclusion.

Loki needs to travel the seas to achieve his objectives, making him a great fit as a commander in the Straw Hat Fleet. Fans are eagerly anticipating his role in the story’s final arc, and it’s clear the author will significantly develop his character soon.

It doesn’t matter if Loki becomes the final member of the Straw Hat crew or a commander in their fleet. The important thing is that Luffy will have an incredibly strong new ally, and his power and reach across the seas will increase significantly.

The Straw Hats Would Become Unbeatable

With Loki now joining the crew, the Straw Hats have become an incredibly powerful force in the world of One Piece – practically unstoppable. Even the Navy will have a hard time facing them, considering the strength of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and the rest of the crew, along with the support of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. Their combined power is truly immense. It’s clear Luffy and his crew are on the verge of achieving their goal of finding the One Piece and becoming the strongest pirates on the seas. Now, all fans can do is eagerly await their ultimate triumph.
