Say Hello To The Next Solo Leveling Arc Even Better Than Jeju Island

This article contains spoilers for the Solo Leveling series.

By 2025, Solo Leveling had become incredibly popular. The series began in 2024 with its first season, quickly gaining a dedicated fanbase thanks to its thrilling action. The story follows Sung Jinwoo, who starts as a weak character but becomes incredibly powerful with the help of a special system, and he continues to face increasingly difficult challenges throughout the series.

Season 2 of Solo Leveling delivered some incredible story arcs, with the Jeju Island arc standing out as a fan favorite. While that arc contained the series’ best battle so far, the original light novel and webtoon have even more exciting content planned. The next animated adaptation is likely to focus on the Double Dungeon arc, where Jinwoo will become even stronger, gain new abilities, and face opponents more powerful than the Ant King.

Jeju Island Was Great, But The Double Dungeon Arc Will Be Even Better

  • Sung Jinwoo Is About To Return To Where It All Began
  • Jinwoo Will Fight Tougher Fights

The second season of Solo Leveling was amazing! While the first part was good, the Jeju Island Arc in the second half was truly exceptional.

The Jeju Island arc is widely considered the peak of the Solo Leveling series. It brought together the largest number of top-tier (S-Rank) Hunters from both Japan and Korea, but even their combined power proved ineffective against the formidable Ant King.

The Ant King defeated nearly all of the top-level Japanese and Korean Hunters, but Sung Jinwoo arrived just in time. The fight that followed was widely considered the most thrilling and visually stunning battle in the Solo Leveling series, truly demonstrating the power and excitement of its combat.

Jeju Island was amazing, but the upcoming Double Dungeon Arc promises to be even more impressive. This arc will bring Jinwoo back to the original dungeon, where he’ll encounter challenges far greater than anything he faced against the Ant King.

Jinwoo is facing a tough fight against Kandiaru, the system’s Architect. This battle will be especially challenging because Jinwoo won’t be able to use his Shadow Army.

I’m so hyped for what’s coming in Solo Leveling! It looks like Jinwoo is about to unlock a massive power-up – the Black Heart – and it’s all connected to the previous Shadow Monarch, Ashborn. Seriously, this isn’t just going to be an amazing fight to watch, but the story itself is about to explode with lore that’s even bigger than anything we’ve seen before. It feels like Solo Leveling is diving into seriously deep territory, and I can’t wait to see all the incredible content that’s on its way!

The Double Dungeon Arc Could Be Adapted Into A Movie Or Be Included In Season 3

Fans of Solo Leveling are unsure about how the series will adapt future storylines. A third season hasn’t been officially announced yet, leading to concerns about the show’s continuation. Many are eager to know when the Double Dungeon arc will be brought to life in animation.

I represent everything you’ve fought through, proving your strength and making your pain worthwhile. I am death, but also the peace that follows, and the fear that comes with both. — Ashborn to Sung Jinwoo, Solo Leveling

A movie based on Solo Leveling is currently in development, but it’s unknown whether it will follow the next story arc from the original webcomic or take a different path. Fans are eager to see what’s next for the series, potentially an adaptation of the Double Dungeon arc, or something completely new. If it does adapt that arc, viewers can expect an incredibly impressive and exciting experience.

Currently, there are 25 episodes of Solo Leveling available – the first season has 12 episodes and the second has 13. You can watch both seasons on Crunchyroll. While fans wait for news about a potential third season, the original Solo Leveling story is also available as a Manhwa.
