One Piece Dominates The Manga Department

Demon Slayer Can’t Compete With One Piece

Although Demon Slayer is incredibly popular as an anime, its manga sales don’t compare to One Piece. One Piece is the best-selling manga of all time, making its author, Eiichiro Oda, one of the best-selling authors globally. Its consistent dominance in the manga world for so many years is remarkable.

While One Piece is generally considered a higher-quality series compared to Demon Slayer, and many other recent shonen anime, Demon Slayer’s incredible global popularity has made it a huge success in its own way.

One Piece Chapter 1165 is scheduled for release this week, as usual on Sundays. While it becomes available in Japan at midnight on Monday, most international fans will be able to read it on November 9th. The official release date is November 9, 2025, and the chapter will be available for free on Manga Plus.
