This article contains spoilers for the One Piece manga.
Fans of One Piece have had a tough time with all the recent breaks in the manga’s release schedule, but the series is back with a fantastic new chapter, and everyone is thrilled with what creator Eiichiro Oda has produced. Although the breaks are frustrating, the quality of the manga makes the wait worthwhile, especially now as the story of the God Valley Incident reaches its most exciting point. In chapter 1163, the God Valley conflict came to a head, culminating in the defeat of Rocks D. Xebec by what’s revealed to be One Piece‘s most powerful ability: Domi Reversi.
Imu’s power is currently the strongest we’ve seen in the series. It not only defeats incredibly powerful enemies, but also transforms them into loyal, undying allies. As of now, there are no known ways to counter this ability, but the key to doing so might be found in the unique powers of Luffy and Blackbeard.
Imu’s Domi Reversi Is the Most Overpowered One Piece Ability
- Imu’s Ability Turns Enemies Into Overpowered Allies
- It Works Even on the Strongest of Opponents
One Piece features a wide range of incredibly strong characters, many of whom demonstrate impressive abilities, like Kaido’s Kaen Hakke and Shanks’s Kamusari. However, no other power comes close to matching Domi Reversi, which is widely considered the strongest ability in the series.
Imu possesses a powerful ability called Domi Reversi, which appears to stem from a Devil Fruit with demonic origins. We first saw Imu use this power during the Elbaf arc, turning Dorry and Brogy into enslaved demons. It has now been revealed that Imu also used Domi Reversi in the past during the God Valley incident, affecting members of the Davy Clan and even Rocks D. Xebec, a remarkably strong pirate.
Domi Reversi is currently the strongest single-use ability shown in One Piece. It’s so powerful that even Rocks D. Xebec, who was stronger than the most powerful pirates alive, couldn’t resist its effects. This ability lets Imu disable enemies and transform them into incredibly powerful allies. The exact mechanics of Domi Reversi are still unknown, and there may be specific requirements to use it, which fans might learn about soon.
Luffy and Blackbeard’s Devil Fruits Might Be the Counter To Such A Power
- Luffy’s Power Is Limited Only by His Imagination
- Blackbeard’s Yami Yami no Mi Can Cancel Out Devil Fruit Abilities
Okay, so Domi Reversi is ridiculously strong, but I don’t think it’s unbeatable. Rocks D. Xebec let slip that taking down the World Government would take two Devil Fruits, and I’m pretty sure he was talking about Luffy’s Mythical Zoan – the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika – and Blackbeard’s Yami Yami no Mi. Honestly, I think those two powers combined are the only things that could actually stand up to Imu’s Domi Reversi!
As a child, I dreamed of creating a manga with an incredibly exciting climax. I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off! Now, after 25 years, we’re nearing the end of the Wano arc and everything is almost ready. You can jump in and start reading now, because from here on out… it’s going to be the ONE PIECE! I’ll be revealing all the mysteries of this world – it’s going to be a wild ride! Buckle up and please stick with me a little longer! — Eiichiro Oda, Author of One Piece, 2022
There are hints that Luffy’s Devil Fruit power is connected to Imu’s. Like Imu, Luffy seems to have abilities that almost allow him to make things real simply by imagining them. This suggests he might be able to use a perfected version of the Domi Reversi ability and potentially reverse its effects on those it has harmed.
Blackbeard’s Devil Fruit power is incredibly versatile, effectively countering many other Devil Fruit abilities. Its darkness can absorb almost anything, and it could even negate the effects of a power like Domi Reversi. Some fans believe that defeating the final villain, Imu, may require a team-up between Luffy and Blackbeard.
The newest chapter of One Piece is scheduled to be released this week, as it typically is on Sundays. While it becomes available in Japan at midnight on Monday (JST), most fans around the world will be able to read it on November 2nd. The chapter will be available for free on Manga Plus.
