This REPO game quickly became famous following its debut, largely due to the multitude of amusing user-generated content. However, progressing through the levels can be quite a test as the difficulty level steadily increases. In this guide, we will walk you through the scaling of REPO’s difficulty.
Progressing through levels in REPO will become progressively tougher compared to earlier stages. This challenge isn’t limited to enemies and kill targets, but also extends to the late-game survival for even seasoned players.
REPO Difficulty Scaling Explained
Initially, navigating through the REPO appears tricky, but once you familiarize yourself with the monsters’ behavior and grasp the fundamental mechanics, you’ll breeze through the initial levels effortlessly. However, as you advance, the difficulty level will pick up again due to an increase in enemies per level. Moreover, the randomness in spawning can lead to potentially challenging enemy combinations.
To begin with, it’s important to point out that the challenge in REPO doesn’t increase according to the number of players in the room. Regardless if there are two or six of you, you’ll encounter just two monsters and a minimal objective on the initial level. Essentially, levels 1 through 5 can be more efficiently conquered with larger groups. However, do bear in mind that it becomes harder to purchase upgrades and equipment for everyone as the team grows in size.
As I delve deeper into this game, I’m noticing that the terrain shifts dynamically. Despite REPO having limited locations, the Swiftbroom Academy on the initial and final levels undergoes a remarkable transformation. The map expands, adds additional floors, and introduces new chambers, some of which lead to an abyss, making it all too easy for me to take a tumble.
Additionally, both your allocation and the number of Extractors you’ll manage will continually grow. Starting from level 6, players will need to transport loot in four Extractors. Consequently, even if your quota at these levels is approximately 18K, it becomes quite challenging to meet this requirement.
REPO Difficulty Scaling with Levels

For a smoother gaming journey, we’ve prepared a table outlining the REPO‘s scaling difficulty levels. This table provides an approximate completion time and the number of extractors visible on the map. Nevertheless, the specific challenge of your gameplay session will predominantly hinge on Random Number Generation (RNG), focusing primarily on the monsters that appear in the area.
Level | Number of Extractors | Estimated Quota |
---|---|---|
Level 1 | 1 Extractor | $9K |
Level 2 | 2 Extractor | $10K |
Level 3 | 2 Extractor | $21K |
Level 4 | 3 Extractor | $18K |
Level 5 | 3 Extractor | $20K |
Level 6 | 3 Extractor | $19K |
Level 7 | 4 Extractor | $12K |
Level 8 | 4 Extractor | $15K |
Level 9 | 4 Extractor | $23K |
