The creator of Schedule 1, Tyler from TVGS, has provided another update regarding the release date for the highly anticipated Cartel update. After putting in countless hours of work, players won’t have much longer to wait before getting their hands on this exciting new update.
The first community-voted content in the game, known as the Cartel update, was Schedule 1 material. This is the first time players have had a say in the game through community voting, which took place in June initially. In this first vote, players were given three options: a Police Expansion update, a Shrooms update, or a Rival Cartel update. The Rival Cartel update received a landslide 64% of the votes and was promoted as bringing a more significant challenge for mid-to-late gameplay.
Schedule 1’s Cartel Update is Coming to Beta Branch “in the Next Day or Two”
Hey fellow gamers! As a developer on X, I’m super excited to share some news about our upcoming Cartel update – we’re nearly there! The 98% is pretty much in the bag, but that last 2%? It’s proving to be quite the challenge, let me tell you. But don’t worry, we’ve got your back! We’ll be releasing this update into our beta branch within the next couple of days, so hang tight, it won’t be long now!
As for when everyone gets their hands on it after its beta period, I’m afraid I can’t give you a specific timeframe just yet. But trust us, we appreciate your patience and are working hard to get this update into your hands as soon as possible! Stay tuned for more updates!
The original intention was for Schedule 1 to roll out the Cartel update by this week, but it seems that the release date has been pushed back. In his post, Tyler admitted to this delay and promised to provide more precise timelines for future updates. Currently, it appears that Tyler is single-handedly working on the game, potentially causing the missed deadlines for updates.

It appears that after the latest update from the Cartel, there will reportedly be another vote to determine what will be added next on Schedule 1. However, those hoping for an immediate exit from Early Access may find themselves disheartened, as it was previously announced this year that the full release of Schedule 1 is estimated to be at least two to three years away, despite plans to expand the development team. Despite its incomplete status, the game remains enjoyable to play, and fans are eagerly awaiting future updates.
