Instead of walking through Schedule 1’s map on foot, players can find faster ways to move about town. One such option is by purchasing and utilizing a skateboard to boost their movement speed. This tutorial will walk you through the process of acquiring a skateboard and using it effectively. Players following this guide should be able to zip around on their skateboards in no time, even if they’re from Schedule 1.
As a fan, I’m excited that we’ll ultimately unlock vehicles under Schedule 1. This new mode of transportation will provide us with an efficient way to navigate through the game map more swiftly.
How to Get a Skateboard in Schedule 1
Players can purchase skateboards at “Shred Shack,” a store located between Dan’s Hardware and the Chinese Restaurant. For players who have completed some initial tasks in Schedule 1, finding these locations should be familiar, but for absolute clarity, the exact location of Shred Shack is marked on the enclosed map.

When you get to Shred Shack, have a chat with Jeff to see the selection of boards he’s offering. You’re welcome to buy any board that fits your budget, and there are five options to pick from.
- Cheap Skateboard ($75)
- Skateboard ($250)
- Lightweight Skateboard ($500)
- Cruiser ($500)
- Golden Skateboard ($1,500)
For those players who have ample funds (as outlined in Schedule 1), they might consider buying an expensive skateboard from the get-go. However, for most beginners, a more affordable, $250 skateboard should serve as a suitable starting point.
It’s important to know that The Shred Shack operates from 6am till 6pm. However, some players under Schedule 1 have mentioned they can’t buy skateboards from Jeff when playing with friends. This problem might be resolved by switching to a solo game mode and giving it another try.
How to Use a Skateboard in Schedule 1
After buying a skateboard at Shred Shack, you’ll notice it has been added to your action bar at the screen’s bottom. To get on the board, click and hold the left mouse button on the slot where it’s located. Once mounted, navigate using WASD keys for direction, and press Space to jump during your ride.
As a thrill-seeking skateboarder, I boost my jumps significantly by momentarily gripping the spacebar before letting go.
To get off the skateboard quickly, players have two options: they can click the left mouse button or press the Esc key. This convenient feature allows for frequent transitions between riding and walking on the map, which players often need to do during gameplay.
Skateboard Differences in Schedule 1

When considering skateboards, a common guideline is that pricier boards tend to offer greater speed. However, at the $500 mark, there are two distinct models: The Lightweight Skateboard boasts a slightly higher jumping capacity, whereas the Cruiser offers a slightly quicker speed. It’s worth noting that this minor difference doesn’t come into play with the Gold Skateboard, as it outperforms the Cruiser in terms of speed and matches the Lightweight’s jump performance.
